Outdoor 2009 Look

I see everyone is getting ready for the season to begin to let me share with everyone.




The tray in the front is diesel backcrossed with diesel.. really nasty pheno. (75)



This is some purple diesel I created indoor last year. Had one of my friends grow it and I guess the colas are extremely huge and resinous.. with dark purple tones.
This year Im sticking 100 of these out.

The three seeds towards the front that haven't germed yet are some more diesel X diesel just late bloomers.



The rest of the purple diesel, and all the way to the left is 15 legends ultimate indica. These should be interesting.



This is my clone room.... lets dig deeper


In this tray there are 9 clones

the row closest to you has a trainwreck in the red cup, white widow in the middle, himalaya gold on the left. The middle row is three cheese clones. and the back row is himalaya gold on the right... cheese in the middle, and himalaya on the left.




The clone in the little cup im so delighted to have because its growdoc's bubbledust and the clone I got is from someone who showed me their grow with the mommas and wow im glad I received this for a gift.

In the black bucket is a himalaya gold clone from my last havest that i am now currently cloning off of. Plan on getting this plant really big and the same goes for the clones I currently cloned today.



This is my cheese momma thats topped 3 times and I took 2 clones from this tonight also.



The bucket closest to you is a white widow mother still vegging sitting on the soil in the bucket is a cheese clone and another white widow.



this is the bucket that is in the back left behind the white widow...

That is a trainwreck in the big black bucket with plenty of tops and clones sprouting..

on the left is another cheese, and on the right is another himalayan gold....



last but not least these are the clones I cut tonight off the cheese mom and the gold mom. 6 of each.

So thats what I got started for the year, I plan to start putting stuff out in the beginning of May - beginning of July... harvesting october

Id like to get some quebec gold.. not too far away.. did you get it from a seed shop around?

i can ask i got them from a grower i know but i can only get them early spring becuse after that he has no more for sale so id love to find a easier place to get some also

nice. Have you grown super skunk outdoors before? I have some seedlings im going to whack outside soon.

How do they perform outdoor up in canada?

I live in ireland and we gat shittie ass weather but im goin to give them a bash anyway

Good they grow nice and big i don't remember how much the yield i got was but i was suprised becuse i got more then expected and it was great smoke and very easy to sell .. hope you get nice results

what do you put on the clone's tips before you put them in soil? I've asked around alittle and haven't been able to find anyone who uses soil to clone w/. I don't have funds for rockwool and all that, so I'd like to take some clones and start them in potting soil. Can you give me some tips on that?

I love using clones outdoors in soil, Ive tried putting clones in anything n the majority of the time they work. After u take the cutting u can use any cloning gel(iv even used the avg general plant cloning gel with success) some people I know just dip the plant in a cup of water, make sure there are nor air bubbles n stuff in the gel and root tip. After that iv either put them in those jiffy peat pods or even just straight into the soil as is. I like to experiment sometimes jus for the hell of it n so i just put a fresh cutting straight into a pot outdoors and sure enuf the lil girl took off after a while and produced some great smoke. Putting them directly outdoors obviously isnt what id recommend but if u start the lil gals inside even directly in soil they should be good to go. I love working with soil and so do clones. Hopefully this makes sense to someone other than me.

Take Root from Schultz works well i get 80% succes in soil. just dip your clone in water and then the powder and put it in the soil ant finely in a humidity dome and your done

I use GreenLight Rooting HOrmone for my cuttings. I cut the clone off the mom plant than I cut the clones stem at a 45 degree angel under water that has some hydrogen peroxide in it also. Than I take that fresh cut and rollit around in my root hormone right where the 45 degree cut is.. After this I poke a small hole in the soil of my cup and insert the clone, however i insert in a way that none of the rooting hormone gets knocked off.... after the part of the stem that has the hormone on it is under the surface of the dirt I just push dirt up around the stem and it holds it in place until rooting starts. * 1 - 3 weeks depending on strain and lighting and a couple other factors.

Thanks guys, apprecitate the advice. It's good to hear (blitted) that you've experimented and how it worked. That's kind of info I need, as I'm kinda figuring it or "experimenting" alot myself right now. But it helps to hear what/where others have tried, failed, and succedded! Thanks to u 2 mokino for dropping stats and a brand name I'm famiailr w/. I've seen that shultz product at lowes i think, so next time I'm oever there I'll def. pick some up. Thanks again.

Yeah this makes sense... I could see putting clones outside in some good soil and getting something to cover up like the peat pellets and trays and makeing sure its wet. Im just going to start taking clones now so I can take more later on...

Whats up smokers of fine headies? Just posting an update for my outdoor grow this year w/ pics.

Lets get started:




^^ These two pics are of my first box ... the First pic is what is left of the diesel X diesel ... also about 10 males out of 75 ( not bad) The second pic is a tray of my purple diesel I made on accident 2 years ago. ( spirit of 76' x vietnamese x diesel ) Only 3 males so far out of 100 ... The spirit of 76 x Vietnamese wasn't suspose to be bred indoors and I didn't know it because it was my first grow however I had 2 nyc diesel's in there with the purple 76' ... the 76' blew off a bunch of yellow bannas however no male flowers that opened up. My diesel's were now completely bred with this old school strain from the 70's. apparently its pretty much feminised for outdoor grow.



This closet has all purple diesel (well developed plants) and Legends Ulitmate Indicas (15) seedlings all the way to the left.



This is my favorite room... on the left in the black tray is diesel x diesel then the two right next to that try as follows: Top droor tray = clones from cheese/ himalaya gold/ white widow ( 18 ) the tray below is another tray of the purple diesel ...( still deciding on a name for this strain ... thinking milk money ) and the orange tray below that is full of chamera's C4.

This is a cheese clone I took from my indoor winter grow that is now turning into my mother cheese plant.... i've topped this momma 10 times and it has around 20 - 25 head nodes. I also took 6 clones from the bottom three nodes. Wonderfull plant however during flower is really sensitive to phos.



This is a trainwreck clone I received as a gift from one of my great friends. This plant has also been topped and around 15 head nodes.



This is a white widow clone that is being turned into a mother same as the cheese before. This has been topped 4 times and has around 10 head nodes. Have taken 8 clones from bottom nodes.



This is my himalaya clone turned momma.... Took clones from bottom nodes... and topped 5 times for about 10 - 12 top head nodes.



This plant has its own damn story and its kind of long, but im blazed and don't care so here it goes. My good friend ordered growdoc's bubbledust and received the last bubbledust seed that growdoc had... growdoc isn't producing this strain anymore however.... My friend got 10 seeds and 9 where female ( the seeds weren't feminised) from those 9 all but one were the stable pheno that grow doc created.... so my friend took 10 clones from the stable mommas.... I went to visit my friend because I haven't seen or talked to him in a few months... and lucky me he gave me this clone... Bubbledust is a bubblegum / angel dust cross and extremely medical straind. Anyways thats the last of it and I hope you enjoy... leave comments

These 5 have been on 12/12 for 4 days now and all the tops have grown anywhere from 2inches - 4inches... I'll probably start up a new indoor thread and post a link on here so you can access that thread. Anyways im smokin a joint of east coast sour diesel(clone only) and getting ready to stick out 10 mommas ... wow the weather is nice.

Thank you angus, do you use any techniques to train your plants? This is my second time experimenting with training... heres a pic of my last grow .. this is a himalaya gold that i topped and tied it had 10 main colas....


this time around im trying to atleast tripple that.
