You guys are really inspriing me to do this out door grow out here lol this is my second run with Indoors and I keep my plants very small. But yea you guys let me know it can be done in this crazy vegas weather. I think I might try my outdoor grow in late feb early march. Or should I just wait till next summer ends
Why not wrap a tote in burlap and wire in place, dig big hole and bury it, plant on top of. Resivoir for later season will let plant feed at will once roots get to. Desert no more. Plant will get enormous with training. Just a thought.

Your weather is not that different from mine. We get to 44C here in peak summer and it's always at least 31C. And the climate is arid except the rainy season. Why not try a water pipe hoop structure with a swamp cooler blowing into it, on a timer of course. I have a greenhouse made of light welded steel and corrugated roofing sheets. The overhead ones are fibreglass because we get some serious hail at times.
When I grow only outside, the plants do well until they get to medium size, then start to get attacked by pests or whatever. The worst of all is to get a showery period and lots of humidity in the rainy part of the year. Then bud rot begins. Right now we have showers every day but I have a fan in the greenhouse and so far, so good.
