So this is my official first "med grow". As such I will be documenting it for your viewing pleasure.

Here's what I'm using.....

Fox Farms Ocean Forest Soil
2 gallon pots
Fox Farms Grow Big
Fox Farms Big Bloom
Fox Farm Tiger Bloom
Fox Farm Cha Ching
Fox Farm Beastie Bloomz
RO Water
The Sun

I have a total of 25 seeds germ'n. 20 GreenOmatics and 5 Lowlife Auto Blueberry.
The 5 Blueberry seeds went into the 2gal pots today with some FFOF and water. The
GreenOmatics are almost all sprouted and should be planted in the next couple of days.
I will get pictures up once stuff starts breaking soil. I am growing in my yard, i will be building a small tent to cover the plants at night to keep em a wee bit warmer. I am planning on doing at least 50 total plants this year in the yard. This is all being rolled into an indoor setup once i deem it too cold to grow outside again. Check back soon, things are going to get crazy fast.

So, I am a few days in. All of the seeds have been planted except for 2 GreenOmatics, which both should be planted by tomorrow. I am doing the complete grow outdoors, and the weather has not cooperated with me at all. It rained last night so i covered my planted seeds w/ some tiles i had laying around. This morning 10 little seedlings were just popping through the soil, the other 13 that are planted have yet to break ground but they have only been in the pots for 2 days so I am pleased with the progress so far. I am headed to the store today to grab a 5 gallon bucket for another grow I am starting this week which is a DNA Sour Cream seed. It was a freebie from my original seed order and i would like to take a shot at lst'n. Should have photos in a few days seeing how the progress is going, maybe even tomorrow if the weather's on my side.

So 24/25 seeds were planted. Last night i lost 2 of them, the tops
fell off where the seed was attached. Since I had some extra seeds I
said f it and am germ'n 2 more, they are not auto's though. As of right
now here's my current plants....

17 "GreenOmatic"
5 "Auto Blueberry"
1 "The Church"
1 "Bubba Kush"
1 "Sour Cream"

Should be a good start to a great outdoor season. In the next month
I should be readying to plant another 25 auto's not sure what yet..
thinking "Gnomo", "Russian Rocket Fuel" or "Double Diesel Ryder"

feel free to comment or ask questions

Yes, I am well aware of this. I even mentioned it in a post above. I plan on working on my LST skills with these plants.

So I am going to call today day one. I have still been unlucky with the weather
here. It does not seem to want to get warm, lows last night were in the mid to
hi 40s...no bueno for my babies. I get up when the sun rises and today it was
crazy wet out. 20/21 seeds have made it above ground and are work'n on
grow'n out that first set of true leaves. There are still 4 germ'n although
only one of those is an automatic, the rest are normal fem'd seeds. Pictures
tomorrow.

Once again the weather last night was not ideal, dipping into the 40s again.
All plants are looking good so far, I am hoping we get another day of sunshine.
I was monitoring the suns coverage yesterday, I am getting good sun, just not
often enough! Full sun available from about 8am-6pm, later if i move them around.
The rest of the day they get partial shade. I have been deciding what I am going to
use in my new tent for an indoor perpetual auto harvest, I am seriously considering
the T5 Badboy. Its almost as large as the tent I am using which would mean some
awesomely good light coverage, and they can be placed extremely close since they
emit such little heat. Back on topic...I looked out the window, nasty looking, the
weather is about to get bad, update later if anything crazy happens.

oh, and before anyone comments on me not getting enough sun, I meant because of the weather.
i am getting enough hours for sure.

any ideas on how to keep my plants warmer at night? i am thinking of making a removable cover for them. moving 25 plants daily does not sound good.

I am calling today the official day 10. My babies are finally out of the bad weather and we have had sunshine for the last few days. I watered them once with some 1/8th strength big bloom formula. I have only seen good growth since then. They are still small, but have started to get noticeably larger everyday, I assume the "explosive growth" phase will start sometime in the next week or so. I have a terrible cameraphone photo for ya to enjoy. Its picture of one of my plants, they all look exactly like that more or less, so imagine that photo about 23 times and ya know what my yard looks like right now. I am glad Flapjack can cheer people up.

I'll post my auto blueberry kush pics when I get a chance for comparison. They are at day 20 and are HUGE.

So, the plants are getting close to being done. I have been without computer for a while now and my roommate left me this one to use while he's gone for the time being. The plants are about 60 days old as of today. I am pretty sure they have a little while longer to go. The crazy cold weather here in norcal seems to have slowed them down. Pictures to come tomorrow.

So here's a photo i took with my camera phone really quick of all my plants.
I am going to give them another week or two, depending on how they fill in and how the trichs start to look.

Photo0074.jpg

the tallest green o matic is about 20 or so inches. yield looks whack right now, hoping they really fill in nicely. I will give them one more feeding of the fox farm nutes, then its going to be plain water only for the remainder of the grow. I grew 6 or so plants in miracle grow organic potting soil($6/1.5cf). I am hoping there will be little to no difference in the flavor or appearence of these buds vs the fox farm ocean forest plants. FFOF costs a lot more than the cheap miracle grow, and from what I have seen thus far the miracle grow is keeping up with the FFOF, some of the plants in it look frostier even. I'll continue to update now that I am back from technological hiatus.

I woke up to a nice cold breeze. It was foggy, miserable, not all that bright out. Now, sunshine and warm temperatures. I have heard this should last us a little while so hopefully these babies will pick up the pace. I have decided to start flushing them on the next watering, if they look like they are going to keep going I'll give em a light dose cha ching once more next week. I'll go try to grab some pictures now, but...II just smoked some cheese so who knows how they'll turn out. Also, my headband clones are starting to look better, theres about 5 really healthy looking ones, about 5 mediocre looking ones and 5 that dont look like they're going to survive, maybe todays sunshine will help them out. 10 of those tasty little girls would be enough for me. the bubba and the church are also getting bigger, and the og is bushy and needs to be transplanted this week.
