Hi - All feedback/advice appreciated.
Outdoor - Left to right - Bagseed#2, Blueberry, Bagseed#3
Raised Garden Bed - approx 7 hours of direct sunlights (11am - 6pm)
Medium - HP ProMix, Worm Castings, House Compost, Bone Meal, Blood Meal
Green Poison XL Auto is in a 10 gallon fabric pot - currently in the tent germinating.
Medium - Hp ProMix with Gaia Green Organic Fertilizer (as per instructions)
Indoor - White Widow CBD Clones
Medium - HP ProMix in Solo Cups & 1 Gallons
Cloned with Aloe Vera leaves
Grow Tent - 4x4
LEDs - Atreum Lighting 3x 288.2 Quantum Board (fixture designed for 2x2 flower or 3x3 veg)
All of this is a big learning journey for me. I've tried to grow a couple of times in the past when I had no access to space or equipment. I'm now in a position to grow as i'd like so its time to learn the craft.
Outdoor:
The Blueberry and bagseed all germinated at the end of May so are about 8 weeks old. I stunted the crap out of the bagseeds with a number of errors. They have since bounced back, a bit - #3 is a real slow grower.
#2 was topped a few days a go as she was growing pretty vertically.
Blueberry, the star of the show, was topped on the 5th node; she had a 3 pronger going from this node so it looked good. She is now a bushy beast and I realize I need to come up with a good plan for supporting her as she continues to grow.
The GP was popped straight into a 10 gallon to germinate in the tent, yesterday. She has an 8 week flowering time from germination, which sounds insane. I probably should have started her in a smaller pot and transplanted up but I wanted to see how well/badly this works.
Part of the outdoor grow plan is to establish how short a flowering window we have here. It gets cold/wet quick so its possible this entire outdoor crop wont make it to harvest. The auto is to ensure we get something to harvest from outdoors if it all goes tits up.
Indoor:
White widow CBD - day of the cloning
The White Widow CBD also germinated at the end of May. I let her grow, with some pretty bad LST, so I could clone from her and do a proper full run in the 4x4 tent. While this happens i'll keep her vegging under the vipraspectre as a mother.
The clones were taken and aloe vera was used as the cloning "gel". I read that it can work and I've spent a crap ton of cash on this set up recently so was feeling tight at the time.
This is the first time I've tried cloning, with a healthy plant, and i'm unsure if they are going to make it. They look pretty healthy - they stood themselves up by day 3/4 and now on day 7 I think I can see some new growth? Maybe not.
I have a webcam set up so I can do a full timelapse of the 4x4 grow veg through to flower.
The tent has a humidifier and a couple of fans set up. The tent is in a 12x8 room in my shed which is air conditioned to 75C. When the girls start growing and the room fills up with the misses' pepper plants we might need to invest some extra environmental controls.
The QB LED fixture is awesome. I originally bought the vipraspectre before I had done enough research and was desperate to get going. After continuing my research I realized that I could have made a better investment. I ended up ordering the parts from Atreum Lighting so I could build a 3x 288.2 with a Meanwell 320-54A LED light. I'm pretty impressed with it - and the WW seems to be loving the extra light.
Sorry for the wall of text. I will continue to update the thread with photos and feeding info.
