Outdoor Clones Started Flowering Early

Hey guys,

I am fairly new to growing. I have grown indoor a few times before but this is my first time outdoor.

I just put 4 clones outside about 10 days ago. I thought beginning of May was a good time outside in San Diego, CA. But they just started flowering a few days ago. Is there anyway to get them back into veg? I guess I should have waited a couple more weeks to put them out right?

So you think I should just leave them out there and they'll go back to veg eventually?

if possible put some light on it for a few hours in the middle of the night every night. back in the day they used gas lamps for this

Not ideal, some strains take a long time to re veg and the plant looses its structure and the buds aren't as good. If the clones were under 18 hours or more indoor (clone box or mother) then of course they will want to flower with the much shorter days and colder nights. Next time put the clones out in mid June and seedlings are ok from mid April.

So then what abought monster croping.

i dont think he is into monster cropping just yet.

they will go back to regular veg growth, but you'll probably lose about a month of growth. it would help if you could go out in the middle of the night for the next couple of weeks and break their night cycle for about 15 or 20 minutes. i realize that might not be practical, but it would make the whole process take a lot less time.
next time, look up the length of the day when you want to put plants out, and don't do it till the days are 14+ hours long

I LST all veg. Lollipop too. I always SCROG when indoors too. What kind of monster cropping are you talking about?

Taking clones from a flowering plant and revegging them
