Sounds like that might work...but aesthetically speaking the misses wouldn't go for it.

Actually yes. But I'll modify the setup for next grow with a clear tube to view the water level and a drain on the bottom as well so I won't have to lift the lids everyday. They are getting really heavy now.

I like it alot...but it is very labor intensive, having to fill the reservoir almost daily...but see the above post...it should make the process easier once I modify the buckets. And, I've absolutely found that it gives better results.
