So when does an outdoor plant start flowering. Well with a 12/12 photoperiod? Now, how does a plant stay in veg in these conditions? by manipulating the plant with supplemental lighting? now how mucj supplemental lighting is what keeps them in veg. When I'm ready to flower a plant, what happened when I'm past 12/12 and don't have a dark place to throw them in? Say I'm getting 10 hours darkness and 10 of light? how will these plant react? will they flower? also how do people avoid rain when flowering outdoors in these immobile pots? cause I know I can't move a 100 gallon smart pot.. thanks.

Well, its gonna stay in veg outdoor because its vegging. It's gonna flower when it wants to flower. If you go past 12/12..then your plant will say "well I'll take 10/10 cause that's better than nothing" since u suggested that number. The cannabis grows white pistil to smack the rain drops away from the buds in cause u did not know. A defense mechanism on all cannabis except Autoflowers, only because my grandma hates Autoflowers. IDK why cause it got me high....and if u can't move a 100 gallon pot fill of soil,...u ain't nutt'in but a beech azz nuggaaaaaa!!!!

Outdoor is not like indoor....
They veg and flower naturally by the time of year and your location. During summer the days are getting longer so the plant vegs....When fall comes the plants sense the days getting shorter every day and will flower and finish out naturally. As for the the rain some people use greenhouses to keep them dry, but as long as your plant is supported the rain won't hurt them, just watch out for mold, if it rains days and days in a row

I didn't know about the pistils. I'm still learning as I go.. and you say like that is going to defend a whole rainy day like we experience here in so cal. so what your smart ass is saying is that my plant will defend it self in flower outdoors here in so cal?

I get all that the way the plant react to fall and summer and all that good stuff. I was just writing out scenarios to see how it would effect her. Everyone is always talking about 12/12 and here in so cal in January I'm getting 10 hours day light and 14 hour darkness so I wanna know if she'll flower then at that point. the photoperiod in so cal isn't just 18/6 and 12/12. I know these are optimal conditions but what if.. I wanna know what I should do. that's why I created this post.
