TL;DR Can anyone please share experience with Deep Candy CBD, Super Lemon Haze, White Widow or Hawaiian Snow on how smelly those are outdoors?

Hi guys,

First time posting here but I have been lurking a long time and learning so much from this invaluable platform - a big THANK YOU!

I looked around and read many threads, but I still have not figured if my outdoor grow ambitions are well thought of. The thing is in my situation plant smell is the only concern, as my garden is well isolated from outside view and there are no neighbors as all houses around me are empty. Although everything is ideal the grow area is 30 yards away from a road and I am concerned about cops driving by (30-35mph, air conditioned car 100% of the time, very few pedestrians besides cars and the traffic guys driving around)

Anyway as a first timer I really want to estimate well how many plants is about right not to stink up the whole neighborhood. I have Deep Candy CBD (GreenHouseSeeds co) and was thinking of planting 2-4 of them but there is virtually no information on how much they smell during flower. Does anyone have outdoor experience with this CBD strain or...generally any other CBD?

I am also thinking of ordering some other strains and my research on those, although going better that with my CBD, can greatly benefit from your input. I am eyeing Hawaiian Snow, Super Lemon Haze or White Widow. If I am to add 1-2 plants of those, does anyone know how stinky would they be?

Any suggestions/thoughts will be highly appreciated, thank you!!!

I can’t help much with those strains but imo I’m not sure if count matters . One plant can reek up a large area. I think your doing the right thing looking for a light smelling strain but I haven’t had an outdoor crop that hasn’t stunk the place up. Seems they’re particularly stinky early am

Throw one in a vacant yard and walk away . Test the water lol. Seriously though are the houses condemned or could they have occupants at any time.

Hey bam0813, thanks for sharing your thoughts! I have a gorilla grow as plan B but really wanted to gain outdoor experience from having the plants close by. It is a desolate small village, abandoned or empty houses everywhere. It is all perfect for me with a nice fertile garden in the back of my place. People here are predominantly over 60 and I am pretty sure no one will mind...but thats all up to a point - how bad can it really be? I had no idea 1 plant is enough to stink up the whole place.

I will plant anyway and if this Deep Candy turns out a stinky girl I will have the option to move to a tent with filters in the house. That will prob be very bad for the plants, cant imagine they will love me for putting them under 1000w after getting used to the sun. I got to really plan for this though, plant in movable pots, keep height under control (7.2ft high tent). I really hope I dont have to make that effort thou...
