Outdoor Grow Germination Help Needed

I've germinated 10 seeds using the paper towel method, I have 1 inch Rockwool cubes. Do I place the germinated seedlings into the cubes inside of the cups before adding soil until I see roots coming out of the rockwool cubes. Or can I place the seedlings directly into the soil without using the rockwool cubes that I have outdoors into the cups?

Well the way I look at it you could go ahead and just put them in the soil, the rockwool cubes are nice to get a tiny root system but you're going to be moving them anyways. If it were me I'd just throw them in the soil and let them grow, however I've never grown so I don't know if rockwool would give some kind of root stability. but from what I know, i think you can just put them in the soil and wait until they have some good roots and then transplant them when you're ready.

Yea I was thinking the same thing, it sounds simpler to just place the seedling into the soil after germinating. But I'm not sure if you have to let the plant establish a root system before placing it into the soil.

Straight in the cups. More chance of over watering with the rw. Put them in half inch deep with root facing up.
