Outdoor grow

Alright I need to find out the best way to do this. I am going to be planting a large amount of plants outdoors in the ground. Should I germinate the seeds and then put them in the ground? Or should I grow them inside until they are about 5 inches tall and then transplant them into the ground.

well first you should get em used to the sun, put them outside during the day in a half sunny/shady spot, and then after about a wekk move them into the sun, and then maybe another week after put em in the ground, then all you gotta do is pulls the males once flower time comes around

I start them inside until they start working on their second set of true leaves and then they go straight outside.

I would get some seedling starting trays or a shitload of pots if u gonna do that.

I have been reading a lot. I have read both sides. First that its better to put them outside after germination and second to put them out after they have a certain amount of leaves. Just wanted to know everyone elses informed opinion.

I can tell you from first hand experience there is nothing wrong with starting a seed outside, as long as you can give it the attention it needs.

Some people start indoors under cfls till about 2-3 weeks then put them outside because it gives them a good start. But if you have a place close by to start them, then start them outdoors and save some electricity.

People also start indoors if they want to veg their plants a little before going outdoors. This gives them a headstart in life and lets them grow much bigger than they would have if you just put them outside.

i start all my seeds out side, when i grow out doors, it works 4 me...
