You say you want something new, I got it.
Build a greenhouse. You say you've grown everywhere? oh my!
Well aside from marijuana, I am quite the skilled grower of any nursery flower and vegetable. But greenhouses man are they neat.
If you have the space this is what you do. Allowing you to even grow in the winter.
1. Purchase a tiller, and till two small plots. For the plants sake, let's give um 3' x 3' areas on the ground, so till accordingly.
2.Now from one of the plots remove the freshly tilled soil and place it on top of the other plot, thusly adding a second layer of soil.
3.Next, surround the area with cinder blocks. The soil should be flush with the cinder block, height wise and all. Next you need some lumber and 6 mill plastic.
Ever make a greenhouse before? Wanna learn?
Okay here's how.
4.Those cinder blocks you laid down earlier to surround the dirt plot you have now serve another purpose, to hold your posts. You can either cement them into the ground or just purchase very heavy wood. The easiest way I can think of is to place a 4x4 on each corner upright. Next get a friend and a ladder, you then take smaller pieces of wood and connect all four posts along the top.
5.The 6 mil plastic is hardest to put on. You need some skinnier strips of wood though this time. You place the 6 mill plastic where you want it and instead of stapling it to your 4x4s, you screw the skinnier pieces onto the 4x4s thus providing a vice like system to hold the plastic on without tearing it where there are staples or screws.
Take note, you'll need to leave one side open, like a little plastic swing flap, so you can walk in and out.
Also, the top layer of dirt should be AT LEAST 6 inches above the regular soil level. If you want to use this method in the winter then you may make it even higher. Greenhouses aren't exactly common but they aren't unsightly. So as long as you are private about it your neighbors won't really care if you grow vegetables in your little tent : )
