You're in the heart of "The Good Ole' Boy" Belt. I don't suggest creating a thread asking for Kentucky/Virginia/North Carolina/West Virginia guerilla growers. Not for security concerns man, but these people like to run a super tight ship. Loose lips sink ships if you feel me. I know old bushy growers who will seriously shoot people over a few plants, let alone talk about their crops to others. I know there's a few people in this thread that are from KY and surrounding Appalachian areas but most seem to prefer to only post post harvest, and for good reason. I'm gonna follow this to see if I'm wrong, but don't expect this thread to fill up with pages of pictures or specific info. Just my two pennies though man. I'm aware of this, my relatives live in TN and KY on Dale Hollow. But he said eastern Kentucky.... and that sir is heavily Appalachian lol.

I've heard and seen a grow or two in that area of some Kaya Gold from Nirvana Seeds. Did extremely well due to its mold resistance, had to be picked slightly early to my preference but a damn good head high
Be warry of your heavy indicas as the super tight buds are a perfect environment for mold. I know master kush does pretty well in your area

Now when you say had to be picked early. Is that because of mold or weather or ? And when was that? I'm curious when most harvests take place here? I'm not used to the light cycle here. The fact it doesn't get dark right now till like 9:20 is trippin me out. In San diegonthis time of year it's dark at like 7:20-7:45 I know that doesn't affect growing. I'm just wondering when the days get closer to 12/12 although I've read that as far as outdoor that doesn't necessarily matter for flowering. Just a lot of little differences I need to get used to for growing out here. And since I'm new and have no connects I'm really counting on a good harvest.
indices do great in eastern ky,,for me just keep the inside of the plants leaves cleand so they will get air and you will be good.my favorate 60 percent indices 40 percent setivas for a good cash crop.for my use the indices are my favorite to smoke as put you on your ass kind..ky ..ps don't let NO ONE know you grow and make people think your just a midel man helping them get weed for they will try to steal your pot.but a few snakes help to keep most away..and watch your crop when they are close to chop time..
Thanks for the info. By keeping the leaves clean do you mean pruning to let the air flow ? Also when are your plants usually ready for harvest is it in October or earlier just curious how late summer/ early fall go round here.
most are oct.10-15 but the moor indices they finish first around first oct.next year I am going to plant lots of autos with my othere plants for the first time to get some early buds befor the later crops finish.and yes on the air flow just on the inside of the plants so the air blows through the plants beater.i hope you can read my shity spelling.the moor leaves you can leave on your plants the beater they grow and finsh faster. Also most crops here will be later then normal where we had a very late cold spring but that's not normal here ky
