on a side note re:talking to neighbors .... rip off artists are your usual culprits, not the cops. i'd keep it on the d/l. i know of one semi neighbor that got ripped last year for 3 girls in his backyard. talk about a depressing sight to see, thought the man was gonna cry
Yep, I have a friend in Longmont who had the same thing happen to a few beautiful Afgooey. He even had it under a tarp to save it from an early snow that hit and they ripped it from under the tarp. It was obviously someone who knew where to look. Need to know basis only, and nobody needs to know...

Agreed. Also with the very low cost of top notch surveilance equipment available today, anyone growing that doesn't have a good system in place...is really taking a risk. I get instant *live* video streamed to my smart phones instantly anytime the system is triggered. Once in a while something as small as a squirrel or woodpecker shows up and I have to reach for my phone, but for the most part, it's rock solid. Massive battery backups, redundant feeds and cross coverage (cameras watching cameras). Nobody comes near without me knowing first, even in total darkness. Infra-red + microwave composite is very hard to defeat. :) Any questions, or if you want help getting one setup, just ask.

OK, so now that summer is approaching, I need to get more serious about finding plants to grow. Unfortunately I don't have room to grow any more seeds (the Qush and Dairy Queen I popped probably won't be sexed in time for late May/early June), so I would prefer to start from clone. A bunch of you have AWESOME genetics and I was hoping I could snag an extra clone from someone. The plants that have caught my interest the most on this thread at Indi's Korean IBL, Hotsause's Querkle (may be pretty come early fall), and pretty much all of Budpatch's 303 strains. I am sure some of you have some other genetics that I haven't seen or have forgot about also. I am looking for a strain that doesn't stretch too much in flower, but I do prefer the smoke of sativas over indicas. Let me know if you are running a strain that you would be willing to clone and watch it develop outdoors. I would certainly share some of the bountiful harvest :) Also, you guys may know better than I if the strains would be appropriate for outdoor growth (especially since most of you know what my backyard looks like and where it will be growing). Thanks everyone!

if indy makes me a new clone, you can have my 16" Rom bush ... she is a VERY good size to aclimate and push outside (esp with our unusualy warm spring)... not sure if her flowering time outdoors is correct for here ot not, indi will need to comment.

Thanks for the offer EC. The only problem with that is that 16" may be too tall for me and I would be afraid that she would wind up a huge monster and I was planning on putting out something clone size in the next week or two so that way she would be more manageable and conspicuous. How do you think the Durban would do outside? Is she a late flowerer? Also, on a side note, any word progress with the site?

Just remember CaS if your really worried about the plants finishing up too late and you dont want them too big you can always start light depo to start them flowering early.

Good suggestion BandAndy. The only thing is that I don't want to have to move the plant at all and I don't know where I would put it for the light depo. Man I can't wait for summer to come :)

I dont think you have to move it anywhere. I have never done it but you can cover it up with something where it sits in the garden. (like a big cardboard box or maybe something made with dark cloth?) you cover it up towards the end of the day and uncover it during the night after sunset. I think the other way to do it is cover it up before sunrise and then taking the cover off during the day.
