Harvesting an outdoor crop of plants.
Each of them have a varying maturity rate.... Trainwreck, C4, African Sativa/Purple Erkle, Bumbleberry, OG Kush, Green Lantern....
I am just starting the harvest and this will take a little while to say the least, and powdery mildew is showing its ugly head. Following the rule of waiting to see at least 25% amber resin heads on indica and dominant, and cloudy on sativas, I am ready to harvest 3 plants right now...
I am treating the plants for long term that may take as long as 2 weeks to finish with three things: Serenade, Chamomile tea, and Safergro mildew control mixed with cocowet.
We have already had to early harvest on the bumbleberry because it
was COVERED in powdery mildew and a danger to the garden. On the early harvests, we have been trying soaking the buds in hydrogen peroxide during and after fan leaf trimming.... It has shown to completely remove the mildew so far, an has dried pretty well in a room that is at its hottest 80 degrees 30% humidity and mostly 70-75 and 30
MY QUESTIONS:
What is your experience with the three listed controls I have posted???
Serenade
Chamomile tea
Safergro
speficically:
Are they safe for this late in flower?
Will the safergro leave a garlic taste/smell?
Which is most effective in your opinion?
What does anybody know about hydrogen peroxide spraying while trimming?
It seems to make sense considering it turns into normal water and alters the ph when it hits enough to kill the mold.....
Does it damage the buds?
Does it kill mildew spores?
Any and all help will be much appreciated
Thanks
