Has your Outdoor Crop been pollinated by hemp?

So long story short pretty much everybody in Brant County, Norfolk County, Haldimand County and every city and county in between has had their outdoor crop pollinated by the numerous hemp fields in the area. I am wondering if ANYONE I mean ANYBODY out there growing south of Toronto outdoors has seedless bud? I'm in Week 6 and all my calyxes near the base of my flower have seeds growing inside. No male plants, no hermie formations just classic pollen in the air from hemp fields dotted all around. Please state the strain you are growing and how far along.

I'm all clear. I have checked some of those lower calyxes and found nothing. There is a lot of hemp being grown around Tilsonburg area that I saw when driving through. I'm in London area though, and haven't had a problem.

I'm growing sensi-star, trainwreck, blueberry, and grand daddy purple

Just looking at google maps. If I recall correctly the massive hemp field I drove past was around King St. N and Elliot Rd. Just north of Oakland.

Sorry to hear that, downside of legalization for sure.

Yea the sad part is if you try to grow those seeds they will likely give some super bunk weed.

Maybe you get lucky and not all the calyxes get pollinated? I've had that happen where I was super bummed out that a male I didn't notice pollinated my plants and in the end it turned out to only be a few seeds after I looked through the buds.

Canadian here as well. Cana company just purchased a 400acre farm in my area. They are going to be doing a lot of hemp as well. Curious as to how far (approx) can males polenate?

If you lie eastward from the farm then you will get the wind that blows from that direction. If you are west then you stand a much greater chance of being spared.

How far it travels is not something I can speak on. From the post above I get the impression that it can reach quite far.

cannabis pollen can travel 100s of kilometres in any direction. most storms in Ontario either creep up from the southwest which means they push northeast. I know about 10 or more people with outdoor growing from purchased or bagseed that have had their crop pollinated. pollen can sit for a very long time. the pollen gets pushed all around even worse near airports with planes taking off and landing. pretty much any hemp field draw a 50km radius around it and that's your pollination zone, if there are multiple then the pollination zones overlap and nowhere safe

Wow, that's terrible. Sorry to hear of this, Man. Since you're asking-- I'm way down in Massachusetts & have outdoor-grown about 1 to 3 plants for several years & have never had mine accidentally pollinated. My heart goes out to ya, Brother.
