Outdoor LST help

I am currently doing fem photoperiod strain outdoors, it was topped at the 5th node once there were 7 nodes and I started LST last week with tying down the main stem, it was about 18” tall at that time. I want to confirm I am doing it correctly, I know it hasn’t been long however my concern is that growth on the opposite side of the bend will not grow to where I can tie them down and create a lower profile plant. I don’t want a plant only growing horizontal at one end. I’ve attached some pics showing everything. It’s about 6 weeks from placing the seed in soil.Suggestions would be appreciated, as well as confirmation that I am correctly training her.

Looks healthy. No matter how you bend the plant, the growing shoots will turn back up toward the light. LST is an art, not exact science. Just shape it the way you want it grow. When you bend the main stem over like that, the shoots that end up on the bottom side will start bending up toward the light. If there is a large fan leaf above the growth shoot, you can trim it off, so the new shoot finds the light and starts new growth faster. As the side shoots start growing more, you can bend those out too. Use some garden stakes, trellis net, wire cage, whatever you want to give it some structure.

Yes, the old top at the 5th (or 7th) node and bend at 45 degree method is fantastic. Once those branches turn up and grow, then just top them when the time is right to get your 8-12-16-20-? Colas you desire. Less stress and stunting of early growth than traditional manifolding method. You’re on it!
