I feel like this has been addressed before, but I don't really see an answer I'm looking. The climate is very much like let's say central Alabama or Georgia. Its flat and really hot and humid for 3-4 months of the year. Can one setup a grow without shade and plants survive the long hot humid days by putting them in the dirt to keep the roots cool, training for airflow, and using sativa dom/ heat resistant strains and still have them surivive the long hot days of july, august, sept and grow some good quality smoke? or would one be setting themselves up for failure?
Does a greenhouse of sorts or some other contraption need to be built to help manage the heat and blazing sunlight? or can one get away without something like this
Thanks for any feedback.
