Outdoor Plant Height

So here's the deal - I'm absolutely new to growing... and will be growing 6 to 10 plants this summer. I have a spot mapped out for a guerilla grow that is close to my house but totally out of the way - so not so concerned about that. What I am concerned with is that I want to tuck 3 or 4 plants in the backyard but am nervous about the occasional visitor spotting them. Here's my backyard set up: we have about an acre of property that has lots vegetation - a good handful of trees, a 30x40' veggie garden, lots of perennial and annual flower beds and no close neighbors that are nosy or even come over to chat. My biggest concern is the height of outdoor plants - I'm more than confident I can blend them into the veggie garden amongst the raspberries/corn/tomato plants as well as the taller varieties of perennial flowers... but don't want an 8 foot monster saying "HERE I AM!! CHECK ME OUT!"
With that said, I have chosen a couple strains that are listed as "medium" height and early finishers - I've got a Northern Lights x skunk and a NL Big Bud (which I know can get tall), Fruity Chronic Juice, and a BlueberryGum I'm giving a shot at.
I know this is very general but say I start these babies inside April 1st and move them outside June 1st. Are they going to be 6 or 7 feet tall by mid August?
I could get by with 5 or 6 feet comfortably but anything over 6 and I'd be worrying.

Should I be thinking about topping the hell out of these?
Any advice/comments is appreciated!

How long is your growing season? I'm done growing here by October 1at the very, very latest. I could never pop seeds well into June... Wouldn't stand a chance

This was planted in late May after topping. Upon transplant it was 1 foot, by mid-August it was 8.

Good luck!

Just top it two or three or more times. I don't know how fast your plant grows.

You might have to thin it out some when it bushes up in order to give the buds the room they need to develop.

I was actually thinking of trying to do something like that since I'll be growing lots of trellised vegtables - pole beans, peas, cucumbers, squash etc... kind of weave the branches in there... the more I think about it the more I like it... thanks stuccodude.
