Outdoor water transport

Well, I'm glad your argument doesn't apply to public property.

My gf's brother's gf's dad is a forest ranger or some shit .. we talked once of the time they waste looking for guerrilla plots. I don't feel bad; it's an artifact of our ridiculous drug war.
All I ask is that since it's essentially land held it public trust, that it not be abused. Please don't clear out huge tracts of trees or destroy otherwise good, viable greenbelt. I would like that land left as fallow as possible for wildlife. Now, growing where it's already been logged? Go for it, it'll replenish the soil for when they replant. :)

Yeah, I would never displace native foliage. Hell, mine don't even steal sun or water from native plants ... it's too hot and dry for much to survive there except, well, poison oak. From an ecological pollution perspective, they're annual females incapable of asexual reproduction .

I think I speak for all outdoor growers who grow farther away than their back yard when I say;

noice

+rep por youuu

Edit: 5 gal, $15 shipped on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/Coghlan-Solar-Heated-Camp-Shower_W0QQitemZ120286602901QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item120286602901&_trksid=p3286.m14.l1318

There's a couple more for similar prices, I think I'm about to scoop one. They're like 10x9x5" inflated, I'm sure that will fit in most backpacks.

Thanks again man I think I'm getting arthritis in my elbows carrying six fucking gallon milk jugs at a time this is going to be a life saver.

I've never had one of those before. Let's say you are having to fill and tote it multiple times from a lake or stream. Is it easy to fill up fully by dipping it under the water or is it meant to be filled from a hose or spicket?

Thanks guys. Hope it works out as well for you as it does me!

I would be careful what kind you buy. I'm not sure how durable they are, and have read some bad reviews of the cheaper ones. I bought mine at REI as they always stock the best shit and have a no questions return policy, not to mention awesome customer service ... and 10% back yearly for members.

If you have problems with one breaking, post it here for others.

Well, it's much easier from a spigot, but could certainly submerge it to fill it. If it's in a backpack, however, you'd have to either take it out of the pack or submerge the entire pack.

What I would probably do is stash a pitcher near where you regularly fill up, and use the pitcher to fill the pack a few quarts at a time.

you can also maybe use a hose and syphon water from the river or lake if possible? ive done it from a barrel to a hydro packed and it worked like a charm:blsmoke:

Cee, who put the assclown tag on your thread? Was that you?
yea yea that was me. .. should have added 'no-talent'. kindof an office space fan.

why not just setup a hudge clean tube away from ur grow stop to fill up with rain water thats what i do great soure of fresh nitrogen forthe plants
well, that would work, except there's no rain. Otherwise, i wouldn't have to schlep all that water out there.
