basically what TBK said! I know a bad craftsman blames his tools. However I dont feel the need to use MG basically. It is run by bastards and aside from that I know people who are excellent growers who have used it and had bad results and those who have had good results. it is somewhat facile to insult people for disliking a product yes? I just think it has not been great as a grow medium for enough people I respect as growers therefore it is not for me and I certainly wont recommend it. BUT I do not think it is bad if people like it. personal preference is a wonderful thing which creates all the diversity in life

i'm pretty sure that miracle grow is the only soil that uses these little balls of nutrients that are heat activated, so the soil releases more nutrients when it gets warmer. i've been a dummie and put seedlings(not marijuana) into miracle grow and the soil fried them. i'd say if your plants are already big enough to handle it, miracle grow is ok, but still not your best bet. i once transplanted a clone that was in hydro into miracle grow soil, it got fried too. just some of my experiences with mg.

MG has 4 or 5 types of soil for different fazes of growing and seasons for planting they are not all fet release as a matter of fact i think that only the one that say timed fert release actually releases it in increments as stated saying that let me say if you use advanced nutes do you feed your seedlings with s full dose of nutes as soon as they sprout? no you dont you feed according to what is called for.. saying that let me say i start my seedling off in MG Organic and has never had any burns or over ferts of any kind but i also dont feed them nute for at least 4 weeks until i know they can handle it since MG organic will feed them up until they are lagre or i switch to flower..But if you chose to be some nute scientist or what have you and cant wait for your plant to mature before bombarding it with extra shit then it not MG's fault It just may be yours...By the way useing time release ferts on seedlings is really silly in my honest opinion!

its not for now.....i wouldnt use the mg i have unless i had an adult flowering female to use it on.....as the sticks i have are for flowering plants.............

so i was thinking all was normal in the grow today....the monsters i getting bigger right about outta comfortable spacing and getting crowded more by the hour it would seem...really by the day though.......they have been goin outside all all week all day from 7:30 a till 7:30 p....so you would think all would be normal but..........My G13 Midnight Kush is showing sex..and also when i can get the better camera i will show you.............and try to photo it, but mid night has thin redish veins about a 1/2"- 1" long on lmost every fan leaf stem branching from the main........kinda U shaped indentation on the stem of the leaf a kind of groove if u will.... at the bottom of this groove is one small very very thin red line...........n e ideas................ (photos below of the fem action).......to top it off a lil more......i get kinda intrigued by this site and i look at The Th Seeds S.A.G.E. and welll thats a she tooo.....lil white hair comin outta her also...........and now the i have looked there are lil white hairs all over Mid and sage.........so day 34......so now the question is change the light bulb over right........i did for all of like 20 mins on day 28 then switched it back.........could this be the reason or my earlie fem's or its just that tiem....who thinks whut????????????...........

@ Dweze.............................. thanx....they r very big........if u put ur mouse on the pix they will tell who they r ..................400w M/H running 18/6.............they go in the ground as soon as we stop getting pounded with rain.................i am more then ready to flip the lights, but i think they may just re-veg them selfs once they get out, so little stress as possible is my goal........and they are the strains that follow

If your trying to move them outdoors from 18/6 to your natural cycle, you should slowly start taking the hours off until you reach 13-14 whatever your natural daylight hours are. I've seen this done by other outdoor growers. If you go strait from 18/6 to 14/10 they will often start flowering for a period of time, reveg the rest of summer and then flower in the fall. So if your trying to avoid that, work your hours down to natural slowly before you stick em out. GL
