i have them in 5 gal smart pots with roots soil, nothing but water so far and teas, would top dressing with supersoil be a good idea cause i'm thinking yea but just want some feed back
If your already a month in, you may want something a little faster acting than a top dress. Maybe some organic liquid food of some sort with at least a little nitrogen.
That's just my opinion based on my readings and experiences.
thats whats up sept im not the one caring for them at the time my hill billy buddy is so if we get into ph and all that shit with a pen its likely to get worse so i was trying to go the easiest route which i figured would be a supersoil top dess cause its got all it needs right there but your saying that won't be fast enough to feed them for the month and a half they got left?
It may work fast enough or it may not. It also may still be providing nutrients come harvest time (not ideal). I wouldn't worry too much about pH if the soil is alive with micro life. One or two feedings at a slightly low pH pprobably won't hurt anything.
