maybe, i use to think about this way back when sativa's ruled the land
but if you have a strong wind, that bagged plant may not make it
i have seem someone mention that used a plastic garbage can to cover a plant with, weighed it down with bricks
much easier if in your backyard, not so fun if you have to walk it everyday

Black trashbag over a plant may raise the temp and humidity too much if its completely covered, but you also don't want light leaks.

Is there no way to transport them inside and out? I think they make light proof plant covers that wont insulate heat the way a trashbag would. Might be worth looking into. Darkness plus heat and dampness/humidity will invite pests and disease.
