Over Fert?

Hi Guys,

Any ideas of what I have done wrong here?

Suspecting over fert, but open to opinions :~)

I fert every third water, so about once a week.

They look healthy apart from the yellowing fan
leaves which are starting to spread to the fan
leaves below each bud.

Sorry forgot to mention that they will be 5 weeks into flowering this
thursday & I always ph the water.

Leaves will yellow into flowering. The nutes used for flowering are generally low in nitrogen. This forces the buds to draw out as much energy from the leaves to be used in the buds.. Yellowing is normal.
There may be other issues there that I am not comfortable talking about due to inexperiece, but yellowing is for sure normalk in flowering plants, especially the large fan leaves. Cheers!

Thanks mate,

I have had yellow leaves before during flowering, but not with black
spots like pic 4? All the effected leaves seem to be drooping where as
the other leaves stand up right.

I may flush, then start with a 1/4 nutes in a week or so.

I'm not sure how much Budder,

I'll be happy with 1-2 a plant, that will keep
me going for months.

u have a couple things goin gon-the last pic is classic P deficiency. I would suspect overwatering if u r watering three times a week-those look like big containers. also, if u havent flushed in a while, your EC may be high. either way there seems to be some nute uptake issues. and WW is believe is Sativa and they will fatten but not for awhile

I only water when the branches & leaves droop which is every 2-3 days probably.

The pots are 10 litre/2.6 gallon and I have stones at the bottom to aid
with any excess water removal.

The water is always ph'd to around 6.5 & I have used nutes from 1/4 to
full strength from when the labels said to use them which is why I kind
of ruled out a nute def.

I have had a look at the problem chart again & you could be right about the
p def but though.

I thought those containers may have been bigger. if ur soil is drying out o the point where u r water 3 times a week, than good chance if u havent flushed in a while to do to rid of excess fert salts. immediately feed 1/2 strength. flush with 6-8 gallons. just b/c u r feeding nutes, doesnt mean you wont get a def, as ur plants are clearly exhibitng a deficiency. and if it is progressing to the smaller fans below the buds, u need to correct this soon. what nutes r u using? organic?

well that was easy than. flush and than refeed. dont know about full strength though- I never use full strength as well as most RIU ppl. keep in mind these nutes are generally designed for heavier fruit bearing plants like tomatos, and mj does not require as high dosages, although they need to be in range of their own confortability

I did not think flushing made that much difference if you keep the ph at the right level
to avoid nute lock.

Oh well, you live & you learn :~)

Do I feed 1/2 strength then flush or flush then 1/2 feed?

flushing can be critical. fert salts build up over time, especially if the soil dries quickly. almost always u will have nute uptake issues from salt build up over ph being off.

oh, sorry, flush first- 3 times the volume of your pot than feed, than give her couple days to dry out. feed half again, than water, water, feed
