Does anyone think that with future legalization (America anyways) that the prices of cannabis will eventually fall to a price point where the cost of firing up these rooms ($$$) cannot turn a profit? And can you turn out the same quality with a high tech greenhouse with all the gadgets and operate it at a fraction of the cost...to where its profitable?Rolling benches, utilize more space. Benches shift a foot in either direction, to open up a 2" aisle for working.

Its not initial cost of equipment. In the grand scheme of things..thats a drop in the bucket. Its operating/production costs monthly/yearly... relative to current/fluctuating market prices of cannabis.hope you got a business license. You could get all that gear 50% off
I think when the smoke clears and the cash grab is over growing grass will much like home brewing beer and wine. There will be some home growers trying to break out and do something commercial but it will be just as easy for anyone to grow there own boutique Flowers.Does anyone think that with future legalization (America anyways) that the prices of cannabis will eventually fall to a price point where the cost of firing up these rooms ($$$) cannot turn a profit? Complete 24 light room build can cost upwards of $50k, depending on bells and whistles. production cost per cycle aprox $0.50 per gram. Room will pay for its self and then some in 1 crop, ( 3 months) Average 2.5lbs per fixture. Cost per pound $225-$250.In say a 30 lighter Gavita room..with the air conditioning..and the rest of the electrical costs..from small plant to harvested..trimmed..dried and cured flowers sitting in a jar on a store shelf (or wherever else) what is production/operation costs per pound?
Looks good, thx for the update. Always enjoy seeing your work.Been sofa king busy lately, building gardens. Most are cookie cutter, this one was unique as many different light fixtures were used. Fluence Spyder, nanolux 630w dual CMH, Illumitek power harvest, Gavita HPS & MH. Interested in the results of this one.
