overgrow, help

I Have 2 Masterkushes that have been flowering for 2 weeks and got somewhat stretched, now both about 5'8" each. I have a Homebox, and some of the colas are above the reflector. Is ambient life enough as long as the cola's lower fan leaves get light? Are there certain ways to bend the plants?

Thanks

The light is going to be weak if anything since the reflectors will be pointing the light downward. You want the cola under the light. What wattage? Those are big plants to bend, but if done carefully, np. You can stake the top down if you are not going to crease the stem when bending, or use sinkers to weigh the top down into the range of the light.

when you get that tall and your only 2 weeks into flower you have real problems. if you need to do drastic changes or bends do a little every few hours and let the plants cells heal before bending more

They are doing just fine now, I took some rope-like substances and tied the now 5'8 and 6'0 main stems into a place under and to the right/left of the reflector. They are relatively close to the light, but are not burning (anymore.. a couple leaves have gotten a little burn but are all still alive). They have bended into a convenient shape now and i suppose they won't gain much more height at this point in flowering; as a bi-product, the buds have been all the lower buds are now starting to get more light and are growing beautifully. I also watch the plants every single day and have been following this grow attentively from day 1.

Thanks for the concern
