if you let it grow to long it will gain consiousness and kill you and your family and take over the world....
but seriously if you flower "to long" the plant will just die....and if you veg it to long it will just keep growing.....so i suppose there really is no way of over growing a plant...either it keeps growing or it dies.

you can veg your plants for as short or as long as you like.but when it comes to flowering if you leave your plants to go to long you can get problems with intersexed/hermi plants.this happens as a in a bit to produce seeds for the plant to finish its life cycle just before it dies if no male pollen has reached the flower from anther plant. i normaly cut my girls down when say 70% of the white hairs start to turn brown.if you go to the "faq" in this forum there should be loads of info on harvest times,you can get a different type of high depending on how early or late you harvest your bud.it has something to do with thc ratios.somebody should pop up soon who might be able to help you more than i can and explain the reasons behind this.

So nothing will happen if I let my plant bud longer than it says it should take to finish...except I might get a few seeds...Thats not bad...Thanks for the help.
