Overkill? 1000w hps & 600w mh

And would anyone have an estimate of what a yield of a 1600w 4x4 tent with 7 plants holds? Just curious..
That depends on your attention and skill, along with keeping environment in check. That's too much light, especially if you aren't running co2, which I doubt based on questions you're asking. Ditch the 600, buy a new bulb for the 1k. I usually get around 1.5gpw, but you aren't going to get that from a 4x4 no matter what light you're using. Back up, slow down, and do it right. Shape your plants.

He says the bulbs were old when he bought them.

Time for a new 1000w bulb.

Dont need the 600w. Use it in another room for a veg light.

Something seems off. With 1000 and 600 watt bulbs both running in a small space and you are only getting temps of around 66-70 degrees Fahrenheit (18-21 Celsius)? What is the room temp as that tent should be cooking. Are you running an ac unit?
My tent is literally right next to basement door that i keep cracked open that leads straight into tent. Its 16 degrees Fahrenheit outside & temps in tent stay around 66 degrees Fahrenheit

I got 2 CO2 bags in tent

That does not qualify as "running co2". you dont have a sealed grow area.
I got a carbon filter also that im going to be putting back into tent. The plants are doing fine with their 1600w. If anything i feel like the plants are eating faster cause usually i feed every 2 days & once i put it under 1600w the plants seem to get dry and droop after a day and a half give or take

Why are your plants so stretched out? What light were u using till you changed to the 1600w setup? Those things look like they will be touching the ceiling by the time they are done stretching.

u want bushes....

the day i flipped to 12/12

exactly. This guy even has a scrog net there but just isn’t using it lol.

that 1000w lamp he’s using looks like it’s degraded To About 250w with how poor the light coming off it is lol.

Ok so new bulb then sounds good. & the co2 nags been helping
Yes definitely new bulb.
You do a new 1000w bulb and there is no way you will need that 600 anymore

You asked how many gpw you can get, and its going to be pretty low if your a novice grower, old bulbs, and no co2
It's really hard to tell exactly from the pictures, but I would guess it will be 16-20oz or so

what happens when lights go out? They are probably freezing to death, I would be. I used 1000 se hps plus 400 mh and spectrum was so much better than each alone! Might want to put some shiny Styrofoam over that door to insulate them a bit for night-time. Supercropping will level it out with much more weight in the end, under optimum conditions id say alot, over a lb. Not sure as pics are deceiving, good luck.

I’ve vegged these plants under a 600w mh & i didnt have a cooling tube so i had to keep a little distance between light and plant so thats why they are stretched. Temps stay around 66-70 degrees Fahrenheit with both of the lights in 4x4 tent. I just want to get the most out of them. The reason it so cool in there is because i have my tent next to a door & it is winter outside so that helps 100% to keep cool down.
What’s your indoor humidity? Measure the temperature at the floor.

At night i shut the door so temps stay at 72 degrees

He should save co2 for when he has a better grasp on growing as a whole. Not saying that to be rude, it's just the truth. It's just another layer of complication, when you don't understand the basics yet.
