Overkill?

My first I used a single 450w(200w) viparspectra on 5 random seeds I was given. Quality turned out stellar but off the 5 plants I yielded about 3 oz. Dried total.

My second grow I accidentally bought a dimmable 600w (132w) thinking it would be larger and ended up buying another 450(200w) for 3 barneys farm purple punch and yielded about 15 oz. 3 lights, 3 plants.

Now I'm growing 1 canuck amnesia under the 2 450w lights angled to give more coverage on the sides and underneath during veg. And I turned on the 600(132w) directly overhead for the start of flower. Is this overkill? Am I essentially wasting energy? She's growing great but nothing noticeable from my last grow. Will my buds be better? Environmentally my grow is perfect(temp, humid, ph, etc.) I'm just wondering what the threshold is of light power to plants

532w/16sq ft = 33.25w/sq ft that's adequate

Sorry about all the questions, I'm just really into this and wanna give the girls my best and hopefully pass on the info to others that need it.
