Overwatered plant

If I overwatered a plant severely, would it take rewatering after it dries out to bounce back and not look like it was gonna die any day now, or am I just doomed on that one.
I didn’t know if it would just correct itself after it dried out or not...

Over watering will induce stress at the least. If it's bad enough then your roots could be mush.

Wait till it dries.

You can turn on some fans, add some drain holes, raise the temp or turn on a dehumidifier to help dry it out faster.

But don't water again until it's dry.

She is really stressed. All the leaves are down on a couple of them. The top layer is dry but I’m feeling some moisture past a knuckle so I’ll just wait it out. Shit is killing me, she looked so perfect like 5 days ago

One or two slight overwaterings won't cause too much damage. But continued overwatering will be very detrimental to the plant and could very will kill it.

If this is a common occurrence, I would check the roots if possible... or at least give them a whiff. If they smell like decomp you have a problem. And fix the problem. Either don't water as much or do one of the things I recommended above or change your medium. Something.

If this isn't a common thing I wouldn't worry about it. It happens. She'll recover.
