Overwatering?

Hey guys, trying to help a friend of mine.

I believe it's overwatering but he's swearing he's not overwatering. I've been attending recently to help him sort the feeding out but they don't seem to be recovering.

They have the dreaded claw mainly on new growth and I've just been to see them again and they are actually getting worse.

Any thoughts? Would you agree it's overwatering or could it be something else?

Nitrogen toxicity?

15 litre pots

I did consider nitrogen toxicity.

For some reason a lot of people growing this strain are having slight problems with curling of the leaves at the tips. Maybe the mothers getting weak she is 5+ years old now

I'm guessing I should flush them a couple times? Thinking hot soil?

i bet those pots take 5 days to dry out with those small plants,thats why i always pot up in stages, that could be his problem along with n tox

that really looks like broad mite damage but i don't see a bunch of holes in your leaves. it doesn't look like N tox., the plants are too light, if they had the claw that bad they ought to be dark dark green.
i would get the strongest magnifier i could find and check the bottoms of my leaves for mites/eggs.
i'm not guaranteeing thats what that is, but i'm pretty sure its not N tox.

Yeah I think you might be right, when it's warm they seem to have no problem going into the bigger pots. The weathers changed now it's a lot cooler. he went from a 1 litre pot to a 15.

Think that's the issue?

I have thrips in one of my rooms, same
Mother so maybe it could be them? But as you say there's no damage to leaves as my other room is pretty obvious.

I will inspect for mites

if the pot is filled out with roots you can water as much and as often as you like in coco, people think the bigger the pot the bigger the yield, but if the pot is too big for the plant it will reduce the yield in coco
