Oxycloner Question for Hydro heads.

I use a 24 site oxycloner with two air stones (each on there own air pump) and one water pump in the reservoir.
I've had excellent success with rooting. I normally fill with tap water and diligent about exchanging the water every 3 days and get 95% rooting every time I use it. After cloning I thoroughly cleaning every piece of equipment down to the collars with bleach water and a scrub brush every time I'm done using it. My question is:
Aside from tap water what is the consensus of adding a product like King Crab from Plant Success to your cloner? King Crab is rated ok for hydroponics would it be ok to use in the cloner? Are there benefits? Or am I inviting the possibility of more problems and I should stick to tap water? Appreciate any thoughts, opinions, knowledge. Thanks rollitup! bongsmilie

I think changing the water every 3 days would make it harder for any bennies to really take hold and colonize. That's not backed by any kind-of research on my part or anything so don't take it as advice. If it was me I wouldn't use if changing water that often. Kinda seems like a waste to me. Someone might totally show that is wrong thinking and I'm ok with that

@Bucsfan80 Thanks for your thoughts/input. That makes a lot of sense probably wasting the product. I noticed plant success raised prices on the king crab and I mainly use it during flower now. In the cloner I tried it this week for shits and I visually noticed more "bubbles" or what I would perceive as "oxygenation" and wondered if King Crab had more benefits to offer in a cloner vs. tap water alone.

Right now you are running sterile with great success. I wouldn't fuck with that. You are refreshing the chlorine (or chloramine) every 3 days by changing out the water in your cloner, which is great. I bet your roots are super white. I achieve the same thing by adding a little pool shock solution to my aero cloners every 3 days. I'm too lazy to actually change the water. Avoid messing with bennies in hydro, if possible. It's a real pita...

Never thought of it that way. Yes roots come out bright white. Interesting on pool shock,
If I was using a bigger clone site I’d consider using that
