Ozone, Ionizer, and Carbon Filters ++rep

okay so ive tried making a DIY carbon filter by shoving activated carbon into pantie hoes then that into a 6in round tub w/the bottom cut out. i then wrapped a pantie hoe around the end but it doesnt rlly work...
Ive found air purifiers/ionizers online for like 30-60$ but dont know if they would actully neutralize the smell even if they cover a larger sppace then i need?
Anyone have any cheap ideas or experience in this? I need it quick smell is a big issue

you are going to need an ozone generator or a better carbon filter. ozone generator can be found on ebay for about 70 bucks new. good luck

If you can find the right air purifier. I picked up one a few years ago that is actually a tiny ozone generator - tiny glass vial - like the size a perfume sample would be in - wrapped in SS screen, attached to a small transformer of some kind. Turn it on in the dark and you can see the blue glow of the discharge and clearly smell the ozone. Works great in my closet grow.
I saw one suspicously like it the other day at a pet store for controlling catbox odors - I think it was $40

I want to help you but i need to know the size of your room if im gonna recommend how to make a DIY unit.

cubic feet id determined by lxwxh 12x12x? and ozone is normally not good for plants but is really good for livingcommon ares of a grow house.
