I had this set up for like 4 grows without anything then when i harvested our outdoor or when the temps for one week were hitting 60s during lights off started seeing PM.

after i burn the room i’ll see if it comes
back with humidity below 40,
haha at this point not sure what else to do
 
I use swamp coolers most of my grow to add humidity so I can keep it up between 45 and 50%. I only need the dehumidifiers the last half of flower when the plant mass is large enough to keep the room humid.

It's likely that with RH% in the 20's that the plants transpiring at night could cause the leafs to sweat enough to make the PM grow.

It sounds odd but I suggest adding humidity and keeping it between 45 and 50% all the time. Never let it drop low.

Yeah that was 15. that is the largest swing in 3 weeks .

i just am close to my limit on available watts.
but keeping humidity at 40 /45makes sense

I think that will get the job done. I have mine on a humidity controller, you could use a inkbird. You will want that.

Your dehumidifier wont be running when the humidifier is. So theres some watts there.

Swamp cooler =humidifier ?
Or i’ll need both?

Right now in the room i don’t have either running it’s just low from air outside i get down is low and lighting is HPS.
I have a dehumidifier , not using it currently.

Or do i get a humidifier and just set that at 45?
 
Set the swamp cooler so that it keeps the humidity just above 45% using the inkbird controller. If humidity ever gets too high you can setup the dehu so there is a deab band between the two units so they don't fight each other.

Okay so the inkbird is like a sensorpush but on steroids.
So the inkbird allows me to plug in a swamp cooler and a dehumidifier if i want and set the inkbird to kick on swamp cooler at X humidity then turn it off once it reaches X humidity?
Interesting. Yeah sounds like something i’ll have to get and should keep things steady in their

Just don't have them blowing directly on the plants. If you wanna optimize, a heater should be low and a dehumidifier can be mounted up high where air is hotter and it's more efficient but you don't have to. A humidifier can be put high or low. Hanging stuff from the ceiling can save floor space.

Okay so was in the room just now and am going to harvest tomorrow, like two weeks earlier than I intended. Tired of having it pop up daily and seem to not get better.

But could this be the cause or why it’s lingering ?

We already covered this. Fix the environment.

There is no reason to kill the plants. So relax. Just get that humidity in line as we discussed, treat the plants with your method of choice and things will get better.
