P Skunk Post-Flush Problems

hey guys. i have a 3 foot tall power skunk growing up right now, its on its third month. under a 400w MH. i use GH flora series nutes and the plants are in aggressive drain-to-waste program. its sitting in 5 gal of soil, so you can imagine how intense of a flush that is.

im getting concerned about it because i recently flushed/leeched and its starting to show awkward signs:

the older leaves at the bottom are nute scorched, the oldest leaves are completely yellow and leaves in the middle are starting to exhibit signs of extreme dryness, cracking into flakes at the touch along with slight nute burn. this is only a couple leaves tho, not the entire plant.

what worries me the most is that the youngest leaves at the top are starting to curl a great deal downwards into themselves, instead of being flat leaves, theyre curling into a tripod shape. is this normal after a complete flushing or what??

also, the reflector on my light is small relative to my space and doesnt completely cover the skunk the way its positioned. is my plant not getting enough light?

yeah, the curled up leaves look like over-watering. i mean, they never did this until i flushed. and its only the newly developed leaves at the top.

my initial reaction was, "oh, the roots are just over saturated because of the flushing" because keep in mind im using way too much soil than i should be. 5 gallons and my plants are only 3 feet after 3 months.

ill have a pic up very soon, because i am very concerned about my power skunk.

P.S. i'm using soil based, not hydro or sub-hydro, straight soil in pots.

i give them EXACTLY 200-250 milliliters after the soil is dry by the roots. after a complete dry-spell i give them 400 ml, after all they are 3 feet.

my next question is: am i watering them improperly? i water once and give healthy dryspells. is 400ml applications inadequate for a 3ft tall plant, namely power skunk?

sounds like you are on the right track. if you havent had problems before the flush than simply resume what you were doing. more soil is better than not enough. do you have proper drainage in your soil, i.e perlite or vermiculite?

yeah i do have perlite, not vermic tho.

my pots arent propped up, they're sitting on the ground in their flood catcher. i think my drain system is very inadequate. pictures will be up very soon.
