OK I just had like 3 paragraphs explaining the Mataro Blue, Blue Cheese, and Northern Lights #9 until I hit "backspace" to correct a typo and it somehow caused my browser to go back a page and I lost it all.
So, cliff notes version. Started these three about a month ago. My plan was to veg 2-3 weeks, then put on 12/12 in mid July for 2 weeks. That way I could put out plants around this time that were already 2 weeks into flower. Didn't work out so well. For one, they've been on 12/12 for about 10 days, and while Mataro Blue is definitely flowering, Blue Cheese just showed its first hairs today and still nothing from NL #9. I don't think they were quite mature enough. I ran out of Pro Mix, and being this late in the season I would have had to get it special ordered. Didn't have time, so I just grabbed a bag of Jiffy Seed Starter mix. Big mistake. The stuff is 50% vermiculite. Had very slow growth the first few weeks. So far I'm 0 for 3 with Jiffy products.
They will all be going out within the next day or two regardless as they are getting overdue for a transplant.
First up we have Mataro Blue, 2nd is Blue Cheese, 3rd is Northern Lights #9. NL #9 is actually a Sagarmatha cross between Northern Lights x White Widow x Durban. Not a pure "Northern Lights" strain. jul420, I think you might be right. I have a feeling Mataro Blue would be an early finishing strain.
