Hello Everyone New here from PA. Looking to learn about growing.

Welcome neighbor. What are you looking to learn? Read away my friend, there is tons of info on here.

1st grow this year.Got like 30 beans all good stuff not looking to plant them all though. I was wondering do you guys grow under lights before before putting them out? for me outside about the latter half of May, i'm going all auto's for my 1st outside grow small and quick and scatered around. I'm still scouting around to grow somthing bigger though.Heres my outside plans Afgan kush ryder, Berry ryder, Super cheese express, AK automatic, Auto cheese candy, Kandahar. After I find a nice spot or two I'd like to grow a Midnight kush and a Skywalker kush. I'm looking at LEDs now(pro-grow) hoping to keep 2 going all the time.Thinking La. woman and El Nino for my first LED grow.I need a hoby so I think I found one can't wait to try some LST that looks so cool. I'd love to hear what others in Pa. are growing this year.Hope this thread comes back to life cause I'm going to need to talk about my plants or I'll go nuts I can keep a secret but this is my hoby. If your doing the autos, I wouldn't worry about starting them indoors. I do regular plants (haven't tried and auto yet) and I always like to get them started indoors, figure out the girls and boys before moving them to their final resting place outdoors. I am growing a good variety outside this yearly, mostly because I am just finishing up and indoor run and will clone a bunch of those to go outside. I plan on putting outside Sage, Purple OG, Lemon OG, Blueberry, White widow, WW x BB and some exadous cheese. I have a few others I haven't decided if I would sprout for outdoors or not. Damn I am always on the fence about shit!

I agree with you on the autos I'm thinking just a few inches tall in maybe a peat pot not sure on the peat pot though. I read lot of good things on them OG's you likem? There on my seed list for next year.I have one of them WWXBB. My seeds are all fem

Love, love, love the OG's! I think big peat pot would be the way to go with the auto's as I have read they don't take well to transplanting. I got a couple of freebie auto's I will probably grow out on the deck this year in 5 gallon pots.

I don't care for peat pots. Used them a few years ago and it seems like the roots get all tangled up in it and it doesn't really break down quickly enough. I'm pretty good and transplanting, so I can do it with very little stress. Especially if you use a stiff party cup and wait for the soil to dry out. Grab the base of the stem between your middle and index fingers and flip the whole thing upside down. Tap the bottom of the cup and it will pop right out in one piece. If you have your new container ready and the whole process takes a matter of seconds.

I've always used 3 gallon buckets for autos. It all depends on the auto. My #1 auto strain was Paradise Pandora and i feel like that strain could have filled a 5 gallon. But for a lot of auto strains I feel like a 3 gallon would work just fine. Autos don't yield really well outside. Think the best I ever did was 5oz between 3 Pandoras.

I ordered my seeds the other day.... Got 5 fem super Cali haze and 5 fem mi5 so u think I got an extra 4 super Cali haze and 3 fen Dina fem white widow autos plus my freebes which I think are dinafem white widow fem , female seeds white widow XBig bud, CH9 toxic blue 33, and DNA genetics snow cap la.... I can't wait to get them and get them going lol

Got my babies outside! I hope to be putting my Dutch Passion AutoXtreme's out in a few days once it grows a bit more than a seedling size. I also have a Sweet Seeds Ice Cool around the same age as the autoxtreme. At the moment though i have four bagseed plants and three of them are definitely females. Wish me luck! This is my first outdoor grow! I finally will be able to supply myself for a year!!

wtf they say it might frost on Tuesday this screws up my plans to get everything in the ground this week

So pose to get to 37 here and screws up when I plant my seeds, guess ill just wait till Tuesday lol but than again I got some brick weed seedings out right now.... We will see lol
