pa outdoor grow season

Hello rollitup, I live in south central pa and am planning on starting an outdoor grow what would be the best time to A. Start germination and B. Transfer the grow to the outside enviroment. I think it is much to cold now it averages about 50 to 60 degrees now, thanks for the help all.

I'm close to you and I germinated last week and should be ready for outside in a couple of weeks, hopefully! check out link at farmers almanac.com for your area!

yea if you can germ now and even grow em inside for a couple more weeks. a good start never hurts a grow

Hey Blazed,
East central Ohio here. I used to try to get my plants out as early as possible but ,as you know the weather can dick you around until the 1st of June. If you can veg your plants indoors for a while here is what I do;

Plant seed on Mothers Day, May 10th. ( multiple seeds 10" pots)

Veg 24/0 for 3 wks

Then 12/12 until sexed

Plant outside on or before June 21st, longest day of the year(summer solstice)

As soon as you can ID your females, pick the best one out of the pot and cut all the others. You don't want it to go into full flower. It's gonna slowdown for a week or 2 so pick the hardiest lookin one, thats why I plant multiples in the pot. More to choose from.

yea i live close to philly too in a suburb...i usually put seeds out by the 2nd week of may providing mother nature is allowing it.

The most awesome fertilizer for reefer is fresh PIGSHIT. 50 lbs in the bottom of the hole with 2 cubic feet of potting soil on top.

ya this will b my first big outdoor grow i got 8 differnt sites i found on my gps them i went a scoped them out they are perfect ive nerver seend better spots do u use the soil thats already there or do u ever big a 5 gal bucketand burry it

if your planning on putting them in the ground you should dig your holes and bring in your own potting soil....if not use 5+ gallon pots.

5 gal buckets work best in swamps, drill holes in the bottom outside and set in 6" of water in cattail swamps. Good camo in the cattails and you don't have to water. Put 3" of limestone in the bottom, 10 lbs of manure, the rest potting soil.

im in a suburb of Philadelphia also and I was wondering if it would be to early to put 2 week old plants out by april 20th-21st i know they say the last frost comes around that time I just dont have the space for my babies inside by this time
