Thanx bud, i was starting to feel a bit lonely in here! lol

I'm really looking forward to enjoying the end product. Most the weed i get around here is pretty poor quality to be fair(apart from a henry of cheese last week!), like tonite i picked up some real wet odourless fluffy weak-ass lame shite with all the density of basil! I gotta a little tickle off it mind...

As for sexing, i saw 1st definite hairs june 29th, can't work it out right now but i'm guessing 6-7weeks from seed

A few pics, some with the light off. They're starting to show some potential now i think. I haven't a clue what i might reap from 'em! but if i can pull an oz off each plant i'll be more than happy for my first shot at this whole growing thang, what do you guys reckon...?

Do you notice how your lower bud sites aren't making much bud? Next go around, "lollipop" your ladies. That 400 HPS only penetrates your canopy about a foot deep. If you we're to remove those lower bud sites around week 2 of flowering (remove lower 1/3 of plant), all the bud growth will shoot to the cola. Lollipop'n also helps better airflow. Yeah i'd heard of this lollipop technique but wasn't sure what it entailed. Truth is i've toyed with a few ideas, topping, fimming, lst'ing. But as it's my first grow i thought id just leave it to see what the natural mj plant does when just left alone. Hopefully it'll be first of many grows to try different things on. I know what you mean about light penetration tho, i've been concerned that the lack of light may harm them in some way or greatly affect my yield. Next time i'll defo add a little vertical strip lighting or something.

nice to bad I'm in veg rite now whit this strain did a supper crop to one of my lower brach will post pic later when light turns on hopefully I did it rite pinch stem till gave then bend towards light.....but wow your plants are a beuty.

Just been in there now, feeding time yet again! I was looking around them, and yeah, lower down the plants ain't doing too fat but the colas are coming along something sweet. They're quite different too, 2 of the ladies are short with a really concentrated central growth. While the other 2 are tall with multiple secondary colas. My biggest, sparky, has 10 really chunky secondary colas, non shorter than about 5" already! ...then there's her main cola and that just simply makes me smile!

So i'm kinda glad i've just let them do their thing this time round. They seem quite clever plants, focussing their energies to where the light is available.

Any clue as to what i could possibly achieve off these babies...?

hey padster im here dude them plants look good mate and you will deffo hit the ounce mark with them. your really gonna love the high from snowwhite its the most potent stuff i have ever smoked and get you seriously baked.

have you ever thought about re-vegging? i got one on the go now and im gonna be keeping her going for the foreseeable future, if you ever decided to try it make sure you save some lower growth (more the better) and put a few cfls in there on 24/7 lighting for 3 weeks and then another 3 weeks on 18/6 under the 400w and they will take off and do it all over again i dont know what you had planned next put deffo worth a thought

God damn if you could see the shite i'm smoking tonight you'd really understand my need to grow, this stuff tastes bad, smokes bad and the only effect i'm getting from it is placebo i'm sure. Ironic to think what i've paid for it is roughly what i paid for those seeds! Sorry man, just ranting now. The point i was trying to make(before getting into low grade anger) was that i'm really, really looking forward to getting stuck into some of this sweet smelling frosty shit! I think every other post you've wrote includes just how good this stuff is, so bring it on i say

As for my plan after snow white, i got desicions to make. I've read about your re-vegging and i'm pretty damn tempted. I'm currently working on a separate veg cab to hopefully get a perpetual grow on. I've got some bag seed that i'd like to play with, and there's also the possibilty of some G13 clones in the next week or two.

Mmmm...? G13 clones v's bagseed, ok so maybe it's not that hard a decision to make, but i'd like to keep the snow white going too if poss...

Update time...

Everything's ok, it's all going a little slow now. Probably because i'm getting a bit excited now, it's hard not too when spending time with these lovely ladies!

So i started week 6 of flower today and here's some pics of Sparky and Phoenix. They feature heavy in my journal because they sit at the front of the tent and are easier to get in and out. Especially now, dodging the tubing and stuff ain't easy with the two rear plants these days.

These two are a good example of the biggest and smallest of the four

I'm really, really pleased with my 1st time grow so far. Never thought i'd get close to plants like this after seeing a few dodgey 1st attempts on here! ...i'm sure i saw a thread somewhere along the lines of... '3rd attempt, hoping to get some bud this time!'

And for any noob reading this, these are my three golden rules...

1. RESEARCH(before and throughout)

2. LESS IS MORE( Meaning don't over do it, don't over love it, don't over fix it, don't over worry about it, don't over nute it, don't over water it and don't over heat it. LESS IS MORE!

3. RESEARCH(Yes again,more and more (and for f%@ks sake, listen to all them wise growers who kindly give their time to help you out!))

Yours won't be long to show now, and when they do give them plenty of time to be sure. I was unsure about some growths on one of my plants so i started a thread to determine sex. People near convinced me it was hermie and had i not been so stubborn i would of killed the plant. Glad i didn't cos she's 100% female and looking juicy as hell now. The growths were a combo of dormant female calyx and new leaf growth. Makes me wonder just how many growers must kill off perfectly good ladies due to this!

The planned G13 clones fell thru, so i gotta work on a new plan for the next grow. I'm very tempted to try a re-veg on these plants, but i don't know how that works with hempy and whether the roots will be ok. I'll do a bit more research 1st...

I've gone off the idea of doing my bag seed right now tho as it wasn't the most amazing smoke at the time. Prob cos it was full of seed! I want to stick with tried and tested quality strains so i might just get cruising nirvana for something sexy and start from scratch after this harvest.

The ladies are looking good, still not as fat as i'd like but there's time yet. Not sure when to harvest really. They've been in flower around 6 and a half weeks now and i've seen the same strain successfully harvested at 46 days! and seen other snow whites chopped anything up to 10weeks. So when do i stop feeding the nutes and start with the flushing?

The plan at the moment is to carry on for at least the next 2 weeks as normal then assess and probably start to flush. I want to try the smoke at various stages so i'm going to do a staged harvest. Once i'm toking one of them the rest can stay in there for as long as they need anyway.

I'm thinking of putting my fat 300w cfl that i used to veg back in the tent for these last couple of weeks. Just to see if a bit more spectrum helps them fatten up any. Prob just for 8 hours a day or so, two hours after the main light comes on. Dunno yet, but i've just had a leccy bill review and this grow ain't costing half as much as i thought it would

So in short, any advice on the following would be great...

• Can hempy buckets take a re-veg?
  
• When should i flush/harvest?
  
• Will adding the cfl now make any difference?
  
• What hot shizzle do i grow next?
