My soil is NFTG #4 with some charged biochar added. I’m running the Greek regime. On Tea days I alternative between cultured biologixs ez teas and some homemade compost tea.

my recipe is 2 cups worm castings, 1/4 cup kelp meal, dash of molasses, and a splash of fish hydrolysate.

Usually I’m running RO water because my tap water is 400ppm. I tried to run tap water this round and it’s causing issues. Im back on the RO wagon until I can clear up the lockout.

The deficiency I’m experiencing:

AE82DF42-CCC6-40A9-AA14-5716CDAF39DD.jpegEAAB9323-242C-4F0F-B24A-B662F98F36FA.jpeg709D00A6-6650-4D4E-8B85-31E6A369B67D.jpeg

so I switched back to straight RO and added fullon to my water (feels counter intuitive). I PH every feeding to 6.3. I gave them two rounds of Foliar feeding with some epsom salt and Bloom Khaos.

I’ve been trying to step on the pedal and hit them with BK any chance I think they can take it. I could be creating these deficiencies. I have a hard time dialing things back. Onward we go.

Here’s a shot of my lights. I’m running 2 HLG 550 rspec V2’s. The UV light is Not turned on. I will most likely buy another one for the other fixture when I start flowering. BCA74CD0-80F7-482F-8766-73556C118329.jpeg
And some awful shots of my room set up. I’m constantly modifying it.

I’ll try to get some more updated pictures. I moved some things around. I’m also changing my fan set up. I’m going to do some horizontal tower fans like @PJ Diaz so I can better utilize my small space.

I found a source of free raw horse manure. How lucky are my neighbors?!!C59C9D7C-F13A-4479-9160-9E173E13611A.jpeg4914C3A3-1FCB-4CAC-A159-D4EA4B8061D0.jpeg

threw some bokashi in there. I’m hoping to speed this composting time up. I’m upgrading my composting game to these 55gal totes. I’m going to ditch the tumble composter.

my tap ppm is over 400 also and I've used it frequently. This is what I've been battling. Possibly magnesium locked out by calcium rich tap water.
I keep meaning to switch to RO as a solution as well...

that’s my theory as well. My nutrient line is calcium based on top of it.

the room looks great as well. Is it a converted cold cellar?
Thank you. I threw up two walls in a unfinished garage. It’s about 9ftx3.5ft, with the ac unit I have about 7.5x3.5ft of usable grow space.

A/C keeps tripping itself somehow. When I opened the door to the room I was hit by a wave of hot hot humid air. The room was 110F+ and the floor was wet. I turned on my exhaust vents and cooled it back down. I’m not sure what’s going on with the A/C. I’m going to add a temp controller to my exhaust vent set up. This way it will turn on in emergency next time.

I suspect my temp controller on my A/C may be causing my issue.

they’re taking the abuse like a champ. It’s one of the hottest days of the year in SoCal on top of everything. Hitting above 100F.

So the temperature controller is most likely to blame here. I’m not sure what caused it to trip the test/reset on the ac plug originally.

The controller is falling apart. I actually soldered in a new photocell on it myself a few months back. Now the actual plug on the controller is giving me grief.

if l don’t touch it and leave it in this position it works.

…so far at least. I’ll be checking the room multiple times a day until I get my confidence back.

Temperature controller failed for the 4th time. This time was bad. I was gone for the whole day. When I got back the room was 115F. The strawberry akiel looks burnt to a crisp. The rest look like they’ll pull through okay.

I’m strapped for cash but I can’t have this keep happening. Time is money (especially in a grow) so I am overnighting a new temp controller. Went with the titan zephyr controller because…overnight available.

sorry didn’t see the temp….

I’m a little late to the game … STOP BK ! maybe I missed it but what’s your slurries ? Seems the ppm is low you can feed it at 6.3 , 6.4 or what ever .. but need to know the slurries and take it from there , if you keep giving BK your gonna see discoloration, leaf’s twist and then crisp leafs .. as I use RO , fullon is great for adding minerals back in … but I’m willing to bet thpat the slurries ppm is way to low and you should be at a minimum 300 ppms and keep between 300-600 ppms and I bet your ph is high too … under LEDs these plants will eat that nectar nutrients up and add BK to it she a eating monster ….
