my defoliating process is somewhat like this:
first is to remove whatever is needed from the plants to shape it as the room room then put a screeg up for support only as i learned i love sog and only scrog if one happens to need i then once the time is ready to flip i setup a screen above the tallest node and measure my light max height and plant expected height. break out my light meter and measure only the light intensity and pluck everything under the 15000 lumens mark as garbage trim then in week 5 or so pending strain i will defoliate 20-30% of all leaves that i feel dont need to be there because of the sugar leaves are in full swing and big . after that its dialed in perfect for max optimal growth. for me i find it most efficient
