Paint for interior stealth box

What is the best paint for the interior of a METAL stealth box. Was going to coat it with mylar but herd that stuff is crap for long term. They also make other coatings similar to mylar but there all so expensive. Ive herd flat white paint works fine. Can it be from a spray can? It would be so simple to run up to discount auto parts and pick up a can of flat white spray paint and be done with it. IS THAT A GOOD IDEA OR NOT?

Chime in please on topic or any other ideas or suggestions you may have.

White paint is white paint. Spray paint will probably be easier for a metal box. Mylar is a mirror like reflective surface. I am trying to find research on this product http://www.krylon.com/products/looking_glass_mirror_like_paint
It's a mirror like paint that is highly reflective. Wonder what this would do compared to white paint...

yes, flat white paint...spray paint is fine, just make sure you have adequate ventilation while your spraying.

for what it's worth, i've read that flat white paint is about 92% reflective whereas mylar is about 96%. you could research that on the internet if you want. i've done both paint and mylar and both have their advantages and disadvantages.

but mylar is not easy to clean, and has to be replaced. paint is easy to clean, do it one time only, and it does provide some sealing effect.
