I had her on 24 lighting schedule for vegetative growth and she grew like mad. I then moved her to 18/6 after about a month and she just wouldn't start to flower so i decided to switch to 12/12 and she finally started to flower. Not sure how many days its been to be honest... I am using CFL's.... This is my first indoor grow! I am using 3 gallon hydroponics with a a lot of organic material, i haven't had to use hardly any nuts at all... Yeah just wanted to show her off and any tips would be great/ how long till she will finish if anyone had grown this strain before. Peace/Love to all...:peace::joint::mrgreen:

Nice looking auto - they can take a while to flower(no need to try and force them) - I would take the auto's off 12/12 if you can. They real do thrive in 18/6 - 20/4 (some use 24/0 all the way through)...Other then some minor light looking chlorophyll they look good :) - Good luck

Your final yield might be affected if you leave them on 12/12 though. compared to what auto's like in their short life span.

Ok thank you, i was wondering that, if switching back to more light would effect the flowering negatively... i will take your advice... I mean.. she is an auto but she just wasn't flowering on time like they said she would so i forced the flowering but i was hesitant to switch back... i appreciate the advice

once the flowering hormones are circulating around the plant, going to a longer light schedule shouldn't cause it to produce male flowers/cause any harm. You will see a dramatic increase in growth within a week - keep us updated! keep it green. good luck


edit - looks like someone else did it and didn't have any negative results. I've never had any negative results personally and I've done it before.

would it be beneficial to the leaves to spray a lil organic liquid kelp on them to prevent aid the yellowing leaves, cause they are really starting to turn yellow.

what ph is she sitting in? The yellowing looks like magnesium deficiency. add a little cal-mag with your bloom regime... what king of nutes are you using?

Thanks that nutrient defiency page helped me, the organic liquid kelp i have has nitrogen, phosphorous and potash along with trace amounts of sulfer, magnesium, calcium, sodium, boron, iron, manganese, copper, zinc and carbohydrates.............. It seems from reading the nutrient deficiency thing that my yellowing leaves are from a defiency in the main ingredients of my organic liquid kelp.... so i gave it the dose that it says for hydroponic use. (---Im not sure the ph of my soil, i don't have a tester either i dont think... All i know is that its a little less then 3 gallons of a good organic soil with a lot of good stuff, i have no nutrient giving schedule, i have only given it a very small amount of liquid kelp a couple times, mostly just filtered water)

well it seems like you are on the right track. If you have dolomite lime or oyster shells, something of that nature, I wouldn't worry about the ph too much...hope that dose helped, good luck.

Update:

My fan leaves really started to turn yellow then to brown in the last few days, i cut/picked all the brown leaves and the leaves that just came off when i lightly pulled them... bud mass has noticeably increased in the last few days, also new bud sites have appeared on the bottom parts of the branches, there are bud sites everywhere!

I'm hoping that some of the smaller leaves start to fill out to compensate for the loss of the big fan leaves. The bud sites are starting to get very frosty and i plan on continuing to wait for bud mass to reach it's peak and also for some of the hairs to change colors.
