looks good so far. are you using cal-mag or a supplememnt? it looks like some of the leaves are curling down a little, sort of humped in the middle. this generally would help with that

we are using nutrients and flowering boosters. some leaves are curling because they are trying to reach for light as very bushy. has taken away water trays so they are more spaced out.

hi,
i am new to the forum. i have just put down some pakistan valley (7 feminised), to replace 14 female low ryders. was looking for tips and grow advice regarding lighting etc. i dont want them to get above 3.5 ft, should i start 24-0 and then go 12-12 or should i start 18-6?

Hi. We are using a 400w dual spectrum light and prefer using 18-6 light cycle during veg stage as think all plants need a rest and saves some money on electicity bills. How high is your grow room? Our grow room is 2 meters tall! If you are in a much shorter grow tent you may need a smaller light incase you burn your plants. They generally shouldn't get any higher than 1.5m and thats under optimal conditions. If they did grow to high you could always bend them round or something gently. If you wanna know any more just ask.

thanks for that, i will have them under a 400 hps, they are in my attic, i have 14 LR2's up there at the minute, some are doing great and some stayed reall small, not sure what the yield will be but they look nice, read on another thread that they stink, mine dont seem that bad, i am more worrried about the noise of the fan i have, not sure if the lady next door can hear it!!!!
another thing people might advise on, i bought some seeds in amsterdam while on a break there, not sure what they are, californian orange or something like that, memory not the best from my time there, i have them down since april 26th, initially 24-0, and 12-12 for the last 6 or 7 weeks, some of them have shown to be male but the rest i cant tell, they were cheap seeds, is it normal for cheaper seeds to take longer in the flowering stage????
i feel like just ripping them down

I have grown cali orange and they were nice plants. When you set the light to 12-12 within 1-2 weeks you should know all of the sexes. Sometimes it may take a little longer but generally not. How long have you been flowering them for? How many weeks?

they have been flowering for 5 weeks, i had a few days where i had to turn the lights off for 24 hours (unexpected inlaw arival), i'm beginning to think that they may be hemafridites (spelt wrong), is this possible from an upset in the lighting system, some of the budding sites are female, but i'm beginning to think i was too stoned in amsterdam when i bought the seeds and the dude sold me shit......i have put 7 feminised pakistan valley down and am thinking of doinf a SoG type thing, putting the mothers in an old water tank i have in the attic, i really have a huge amount of space, but i am not using it all properly, i am getting back into this after a decade off the good stuff!!! once my kids dont start saying 'daddy whats the smell', i reckon i will be ok, any suggestions on stopping the smell seeping down from the attic would be appreciated.......

If they have been flowering for 5 weeks and you can't see buds get rid of them. You should buy a carbon filter to stop the smell completely.
