Papaya Harvest with pics!

Day 56 in to flower and harvest is here.

Pics below are:

(2) 20 gal aerotubs with Papaya
About 30 big colas off the 2 tubs.Some over 2'
Bud Shot 1
Bud Shot 2
Home made bud dryer (basic design courtesy of Al B Fuct) with small buds.
2 drywall buckets with trim. 1 bucket with cola leaves and 1 bucket with immature popcorn buds. Both for bubble hash. Will post pics of bubble hash tomorrow in my journal.

These were from clones (have 3 moms going ) but the original seeds were from Nirvana. They describe this stuff as having an "almost narcotic high" and they're right. :hump:

The hangar idea works well if you want to keep track of different plants or different strains. There are numbers written above the clothes pins.

The bud dryer design is courtesy of Al B Fuct. I used a little heavier material and my heater is a ceramic bulb rather than a heat sink, but the basic design is the same. 2 fans, 1 heater on a dimmer to maintain 84 and a t-stat to monitor temps inside.

Actually it's too early to tell you the taste. I loaded my nutes up with carboload ,so a hastily dried bud is sweet...but that may be from all the sugar in the carboload. It'll be a while before they're dry enough (and cured a little) before I can give you an accurate description of taste.

Well, originally it was a screen for a SOG but it works much better leaving the screen off and tying the heavier colas to the pvc so they don't fall over. Some of those colas are over 2 feet long and extremely top heavy.....just the way I like it. :mrgreen:

Oh baby, that looks nice. And I am so glad it looks that nice, because coincidentally, today one of my five young Papaya plants spread her legs and exposed a juicy vagina!

I see that's Nirvana's Papaya. Yay, that's what mine are too. (There are like a zillion Hindu Kushes and White Rhinos but dunno if there's only the one Papaya.) But since we have the same strain, and after seeing those plants, I am one happy camper! ;)

very nice set up,you look like you have it all figured out,a nice tidy job well done,i imagine nirvanas papayas will get some interest this week lol,so what did you use for light and how long was your veg.enjoy the fruits of your labour.

Thanks for the comments. Those were under (2) 600w HPS and I really didn't veg at all. Although the original seeds came from Nirvana these were the daughters. I go right from my cloning machine to 12/12 under the (2) 600s when they're about 6-8" tall. I keep the lights a little high for the first 2 weeks to encourage a little stretch.

Nothing special....General hydroponics 3 part with Advanced Nutes Bud Blood in the first week of flower, carboload throughout the flowering cycle and Overdrive in the last 2 weeks.
