12 plants. GH nutes with AN Carboload, Bud Blood and Overdrive.

I have the bubble bags but don't like to use all of the bags so all I use is the first one (largest mesh) to screen out all the leaves/trimmings. Then I pour the water in to clear pitchers so I can see when the trichs have settled.....usually about 24 hrs. If you look at my grow journal one of the last pages has a picture of the clear pitcher with the trichs at the bottom. I suck 90% the water off the top using one of those cheap drill pumps (about 10 bucks) being careful not to disturb the trichs and then I pour the remaining 10% (soupy trich mixture) on to the plastic plate that came with my beef jerky dehydrator. As the water evaporates I scrape the trichs in to a pile. Once it's firm enough to pick up I use the silk screen that came with the Bubble bags to squeeze out the last little bit of water.

In the DIY section of RIU Al B Fuct has posted his version. Mine is very similar other than the heating element. He uses a heat sink (in reverse mode) wired through resistors. I used a ceramic reptile bulb mounted in that 4" duct you see. I don't think either is better.....it's more a matter of what you can find around the house. Both dryers have (2) 4" muffin fans. 1 on the lower right blowing air in, and 1 on the upper left drawing air out. On the inlet you need a heating device which is wired through the light dimmer. All the light switch does is control the on/off of the fans. You do NOT want to go above 84fah as the THC starts to break down above that. The white thermostat you see on mine just measures the inside temps. It does NOT control the heating element.That is manually set with the light dimmer. I've built a couple of these over the years so if you need any help and you can't find the answer in the DIY section, feel free to PM me.

Glad to hear everything is well. I'll be ordering my supplies of the web from now on. Apparently *someone* has been watching my local hydro shop and going through the trash cans of any body's license plate they see. Assholes....don't they have anything better to do?

thats fucken scary, great after reading that ill be really paranoid next time i go to the hydro shop. its not like posting on this site, or logging on a daily bases helps me any. oh well, uncle sam can kiss my ass, 3 plants aint hurting anyone.

I have some friends who could use some medical grade smoke to help with their MS. Unfortunately we/they don't live in a State where there is such thing as 'scrip weed, medical cards or legal plants.
