So we've been puffing on our recent harvest of Paradise's Durga Mata II CBD strain for a month now and it only gets better. Great pain-relief and a long list of other benefits. Very calming herb. I took an Afghani male from Homegrown Fantaseeds, a short, stout blue-leafed Indica and pollinated our best Durga Mata lady. Now I'm collecting beautiful, ripe seeds and the initial germ test is coming out great. 5 of 5 have cracked within 2 days :p I'm calling it "midnight nectar" since I have a feeling that Afghani dad just made the DM that much more Potent. :leaf:

I'm drying the seeds in a paper bag atm, however this doesn't seem to be necessary at this point. I found the answer to my question on harvesting seeds and their storage/viability. The 5 seeds I tested all came straight from the bud (no drying period, etc.) and were placed between the paper towel. Nearly 2 days later, all 5 have cracked, and 2 are showing taproots :-P. Can't wait to see them about a month from now, the similarities between the two parents, and how those traits carried over into the hybrid :joint:

Thanks for coming by friend, the Midnight Nectar is beginning to sprout, can't wait to grow them out. My test run of 5 seeds, hoping for a high female ratio, as my HPS is overcrowded and my freebie skunk hybrid is finishing up too slowly  -can't wait to get that bitch outta there ! Anyway, also starting some Durban Magic seeds from SOA. Never ran this before, expecting a tall Sativa. Will post pics when they are bigger - :peace:
