Lotsa guy's here freaking out about flir & thermal scans, some for good reason, ive seen unmarked cop cars in my town crusing slowly down streets at night, the passenger holding a device that is barely visable.Ive been involved in hundreds if not thousands of thermal scans over the last 20 or so years, its a method commnly used in the construction industry.
If you own your own home & want to see how bad you stand out you can see very easily & cheaply, most insulation contractors that are a good sized company offer thermal scans to home owners as an evaluation tool in determining what types of insulation r values are needed & in what areas of the home they are needed, some contractors charge a fee for this service & all will deduct the fee from the final price should yu opt for an insulation upgrade.
Instead of everybody freaking out over this issue all the time do something about it,get on the phone & find a insulation contractor that does thermal scanning & order a scan,it only costs a few hundred bucks then you know what you need to correct, correcting a thermal signature that stands out from your neighbors is easily done once you know where the signature is at & how distinct the signature is,this is not top secret technology, use the same technology the police use to your benifit instead of waiting on them to use it on you.
Get a scan done & fix the problem.
