paranoid noob here

hey, so recently i picked up some clones from a dispensary in LA. i transplanted them into some old EB stone ednas best potting soil, however it had been used before. the bottom two leaves of one of the clones began to turn yellow, and now the two above them have begun to dry out from the edges inward. the other clone yellowed on one leaf but only that one leaf and seems to be doing fine. i have suspicions i've overwatered them because i have watered them a lot, but dont newly transplanted clones need a lot of water?

Not sure what kind of soil that is but I suspect that it might be used up. You could feed some nutes abt 400 to 500ppm or better yet buy new soil and transplant.

?
quite the opposite.. new clones need vertually no water.. depending on temps you might only need to water once a week.. wait untill the leaves just start to droop befor you water again. soil might seem very dry to you this is ok. then give it a full bath with as much run of as the size pot used, if its a gallon pot than your runoff should be a gallon of water.. then repeat the cycle.. if after a few waterings no improvement than it might be your soil, but that is highly unlikly

And u probably should mix some perlite in with that soil b4 u transplant into it will help aerate ur soil and get oxygen to ur roots. Also helps with drainage.
