We got "la llorona" down here too! She is in those book series, stories that dont die or something like that.

Cool though that we share similar tales

Tell us your local haunt/spooky spot/local legend/monster/

Across the river from my house is the Navajo Nation. The river is called Rio de los Animas or river of lost souls. There are a lot of spooky stories about the river including our very own La Llorona. She is dressed traditionally and is seen walking the river banks looking for something or walking along the road next to the river. A close friend of mine claims he saw her once. The scariest place is on the Navajo Nation right across from my house. It's a cave system that goes onn for miles. It has been told for years that skinwalkers use the caves to do their ceremonies. Sometimes you can see lights dancing in the mouth of the cave at night. No Navajo worth his/her salt would go anywhere near that cave.

What's your story? :)

my grow room is haunted in my basement. no bullshit. I have heard and seen some straight up unexplainable shit. when im upstairs I will regularly hear banging around down there and im like, "what the fuck?! did a fan fall or something?! " nothing is ever wrong upon inspection. I always get the feeling like someone else is in the room. It seriously creeps me the fuck out. Buuuut, The 'ghost in the machine' IS helping me pump out the uber chron, apparently....

Do I always have to be Buzz Killington and ask the pertinent question...

How do you know it's ghosts (or whatever) else and not just your imagination?

Do you kind of just go with it? People think it's ghosts (or whatever) and it's thrilling to think about or it freaks you out when you think you see it, etc?

What makes people believe in things like Bigfoot, ghosts, etc.? How could it exist if it doesn't make sense? (ghosts)

I'd LOVE to be haunted! I've always wanted to go on that Fear show on MTV. Money in the BANK!
lol that fear show was my shit, haven't seen it in like 10 years.

theres not many places where im at but there's one called the purple church its like a little cellar where this guy killed his parents and did some satanic stuff in there. when you walk in there's a pentagram on the floor when we were walking to the place there were dead animals randomly like horses goats. its creepy.

another is sacred heart its a sort of old cemetery thing but they say if you go at midnight and stare into the cross you will pass out and these monks will drag you into the forest.(you might pass out if your drunk as hell and your friends drag you in) its just funny to hear old wise tales.

I was sick real bad in 4th grade...and one night I woke-up ( or thought I did ), and I was in a really strange place with "people" all around me, looking down at me like I was on a surgery bed....it seemed like they were in scrubs with most of the face covered, but they didn't really seem like "people"....just a bunch of covered faces looking at me, and it seemed like they were talking giberish really fast....it was only for a few seconds, but it seems real to this day.
After I got older and started hearing about Alien abductions I got to thinking....idk....but my Mom said I had pnemonia at that time, and all of a sudden I was better.
Crazy shit....sometimes I sit up at night and wonder if their comming back for me!
