The decision of ok or not ok is not of importance. Why do you feel you should decide?
Im not deciding
Society and the Courts are

And yes the Decision of OK and NOT OK is of Importance.
And in THIS society, we do not believe it is OK to Handicap your child with a Derisive name

You're society also says weed is bad and illegal and tries to make the choice of whether or not it's ok for you to do it.

If I want to name my children "Fucking stupid flying moon-baby" then that's my choice, the State can go fuck themselves, it's not their business nor is it yours.

Again if there was a history of violence then either arrest the parents or leave them alone...if its not on record with evidence it didn't happen legally.

Dukeanthony, stop sucking Uncle Sam off for a few mins, you're country is fucked and only getting worse cos people like you are too ignorant. It's getting closer and closer to Nazi Germany, except you guys kill in the Middle East instead of closer to home. Does it not ring alarm bells when the State is trying to tell you what to name your kids?

Man thats a terrible name , but I dont think thats grounds enough to take a child away from their parents, they need to find a better reason I bet if they do a little investigating into the families affairs they would find one.
I doubt it was just because of the name. I'm going to take a guess here and speculate that if you make decisions like naming your child Adolph Hitler, you're probably not the best parent ever. I'd bet there are other things going in that house.

I'm sure the name tipped off child protective services. But I seriously doubt that once they arrived at that house they had to look very hard to find reasons to take the kids away.

Is that idle speculation or have you some facts? Again guilty till proven innocent the new system?

I'm not in law enforcement nor am I on a jury, I'm not convicting them of anything. I'm speculating. As are you btw. Your speculations on the subject are no or more less valid than mine. So let's save all that nonsense. I'm allowed to speculate.

Seriously, how good of parents do you think these people can possibly be?

edit - found info to back up my opinion:

Last year, an appeals court ruled the couple suffered physical and psychological disabilities that put the children at risk. The court did not specify the nature of the disabilities.
Also

A DYFS spokesperson told ABCNews.com in 2009 that she could not comment on a specific case, but said children are only taken into custody if there is a suspicion of abuse or neglect.
So there you go.

So should these parents be allowed to abuse or neglect their children?

Deborah Campbell says police referred to Heath as ''the Nazi guy," quizzed him about his tattoos (a swastika is included on his body art) and performed a field sobriety test, presumably after smelling alcohol in the car.
It was 10:20 in the morning.
Lt. Kevin Donovan of the Raritan Township Police Department confirmed to me tonight that police pulled over the Campbells.
Donovan said officers ticketed Heath Campbell for failing to make repairs to the vehicle -- a charge that stemmed from a state inspection that had identified deficiencies with the car that apparently had never been fixed.
Donovan said he hadn't spoken with the officers involved and couldn't say with certainty what specifically hadn't been repaired.
"The ticket was justifiable but the way he was treated was not," Mrs. Campbell said of her husband. "They violated him by saying the things they said to him."
On the police department's end, Donovan said he couldn't address Deborah Campbell's contentions.
"Without speaking to the officer, I can't really make a comment on that," the lieutenant said.
Donovan said he couldn't confirm that police performed a field sobriety test on Heath Campbell; the summons makes no mention of that.
Deborah Campbell said it was her mother, not her husband, who was sauced. Mom was in the car and accompanying the Campbells to the hearing on the chance authorities would release the kids to her if not the parents, her daughter said
Any Questions on the Family?

A New Jersey couple who lost custody of their first three kids after giving them Nazi-inspired names has been denied the right to take home their fourth child, a newborn boy they named Hons.
Heath and Deborah Campbell's other children - Adolf Hitler Campbell, JoyceLynn Aryan Nation Campbell and Honszlynn Hinler Jeannie Campbell - are in foster care. On Monday, the Campbells went to family court in their hometown of Flemington, N.J,. in a bid to regain custody of Hons, who they say was taken from them by state child welfare officials hours after Deborah gave birth on Thursday, reported myfoxphilly.com.
Hons is still in the hospital, but the couple has been barred from seeing the baby, they told FOX. Heath Campbell said police came into the nursery and took Hons without a court order.
“They kidnapped my kid,” Campbell said. “I’ve been sleeping with his little blanket from the hospital.”
The state took custody of the couple’s other children nearly two years ago, saying there were in danger because of previous violence in the Campbell home, The Associated Press has reported. The Campbells have been fighting to get their children back ever since, claiming the violence charges are fabricated. It wasn't clear whether the latest court hearing involved all of the children or just the newborn.
The Campbells came into the spotlight in 2009 when a supermarket refused to ice a birthday cake for their now 4-year-old son Adolf Hitler.
Heath Campbell defended the children's names and told myfoxphilly.com on Monday that his reverend approved of him naming his new son Hons.
The Campbells have denied that they are neo-Nazis.
THink This guy has a Credibility problem?

Did you see the picture of the parents!? At first I would say its rediculous to take the kid because of the. And they game him. But the story said the other two kids were taken die to violence in the home. I say take every kid that those two mistakes make.

Apparently Lord Voldemort has more application to reality than originally thought...

Why is it of anyone elses business what somebody decided to name their child?

Harrekin

It because other people's business once they start doing interviews with the press. They wanted it to be everyone else's business.
It's still not anyone else's business, what happened to civil liberties? Is that idea just totally gone now?

Maybe becuase their choice of names is tantamount to child abuse?
Ya think?

If you get in front of reporter and start running your mouth resulting in a story being written, you do NOT have the right to prohibit people from discussing your drama. If you want people to respect your privacy, don't bring your personal problems to the media.

As far as child services taking the kid, they said the children were being abused and/or neglected. Do you think the right to abuse children is an essential civil liberty?

lol

i kinda agree with both sides.

though everyone should be allowed to name their babies whatever, well, kids with even just unfortunetly rhymable names get picked on.

of course it shouldnt be like that,

but one has to wonder about the parents sometimes, like having the last name of Dick (it happens) and then naming your daughter Anita (it happens)

course, would be the height of cruelty to have the middle name Lotta (it happens)

though in a perfect world, that would be just a really cool name :) (lol, sorta, but still anyway would make ya wonder bit about the parents :))

sorry but the kids name makes me laff everytime i hear it ... poor lil fucker

You were one of those helmet kids, we're you Dribble Piss? You know the ones I mean, the ones that always had to wear a helmet because if someone just looked at they they totally spazzed out and started screaming uncontrollably while beating their head on the nearest hard surface.

After all, that it the only kind of person who would "laff" about a child being cursed with the name Adolph Hitler Campbell.

But then that's you, Dribble Piss.
